Same here. I've seen more than one mean sprited comment, very thinly veiled as jokes, at Brant's expense. I'm not sure why something that was done by Sideshow probably out of a sense of community with their fans was taken so personally by some. They act as if someone has a gun to their head forcing them to buy it.

It's really bad at RS. I mean some of them are being real jerks. THe comments some of them anyway are just vile IMO because it shows who you really are as a person to make comments like that. Like I said some SW fans need to get a grip because SW doesn't belong to them and SS ain't kickin their puppy.

Looks like they got rid of the purchase page completely because when I try to open it from my account it just says nothing found and goes to the search. I guess there will be not wait list on the bundle.

I wonder if they sold out or the sale was over? Didnt Dusty say something about them being up for a predertmined time period? I tried to look but got sick of looking thru 53 pages of posts.

The low quantity alert bar went up when there were 100 left, and it dropped throughout the day. It got down to 10 left earlier tonight and then the page went away. It definitely sold out. I think that if it hadn't sold out that they would have taken it down after a few days, but now we'll never know...

Back to the topic of using Brant's head. I don't have a problem with them using employees as headsculpts...but I think that figure in particular looks too chubby. I want my rebel troops to be lean, green, fighting machines!

But whatever... I'll get over it and have fun posing them in Charlie's Angels poses. Or something.

I dont think his face looks too chubby, check out the picture of Brant that is on SS website. The only thing that is a little over done is the beard. I dont even think the trooper looks all that close to Brant anyway except in the eyes. Overall though I think he will make a great figure and at least he comes with a ton of cool stuff.

BTW the wait list for the bundle is up.

I think it's silly to argue about the SS sculpts on nameless extras.

Star Wars fans would kill to have thier face on a SW figure.

I think it's pretty kewl. I just like Saint Nick better :emperor

That Brant figure looks more like John Knoll.

Sideshow should do a contest to have your likeness made into a Militaries of Star Wars action figure of your choice. You hear that Dusty?

I've been saying the same thing for about a year now and nobody seems to listen. I think it would the be the coolest contest ever. Of course everyone at Rebelscum would hate the contest unless they won.

I know. Some of them act like they would so pass on it or most of them do anyways. I'm like man sign my ass up for it and Dave Myatt said he felt the same. He's one of the few members over there that is really cool to deal with.

Sign me up to. I don't care if these "background" characters are based on Sideshow Employees or fans. They ARE background characters and if I didn't know what Brant looked like, I don't think I would have caught that he was on of the figures.

Now if they got someone who looks like Comic Book Guy trying to squeeze into Stormtrooper armor

Well, 1250 is less than I was expecting. I had a feeling that the edition sizes for the military line would be sky high for all of the army builders.

Of course, we have yet to see how many total pieces of each trooper will be made. Maybe the percentage set aside for the bundles was very small. But I think that the people wanting all three would have certainly gone this route to save on shipping, so I think this represents a fairly large chunk of the total purchases. The bundles certainly sold out faster than I expected, and if they don't make an overwhelming number of them then they might ultimately become highly sought after--when the Scout Troopers and Endor Poncho Luke and Leia and the 1/6 scale speeder bike and Ewok creature pack get made over the next few years, you're going to need these guys.

I saw these same pix at an Endor Rebel site and just noticed something: all the Endor soldiers have their pants pockets below their knees -- like the ones in the picture above. I can't find any that have pockets on their hips...like "Hoodie" and the Brant figures offered. In fact, only Nik Sant has the correct pants. The Infantry soldier figure's pants are not accurate. Just another reason to get Nik Sant I guess.

I wonder if SS will ever offer "accessory packs" of additonal weapons and clothing so you can alter your figures? That would be cool. I'd be more likely to buy a 'bundle' if I knew I could customize them with some 'gear packs'.
