At this point I'm HOPING the same thing.

:rotfl :rotfl

It does seem like a lame way to begin the Army Builder sets and usher in the MILITARY line. No one likes the Endor... anything.

Except the bikes.

No clones?? And surely you'll be down for other Stormtrooper variations, like Sandtroopers, Snowtroopers and Scout Troopers, right?

Stormtroopers are it! I can't afford an army, so I'm cutting myself off. 2 Stormtroopers to flank a Vader and that's it. I've set myself restrictions with SS 12", otherwise I'll be declaring bankruptcy!

Yeah, 2 stromtroopers. That's it. Oh, and maybe two TIE pilots. Yeah. Oh, and maybe 2 Death Star guards. But that's it. And 2 snowtroopers. And then I'm done. Maybe 2 biker scouts. And 2 Tatooine Sandtroopers. And...

:D

you know though.. Endor troops as well as hoth troops would probably have all kinds of equipment and backpacks and such... so $60 wouldn't be all that hard to swallow. Heck people spent $60 buck on Plo and he wouldn't come close to the amount of equipment.

But yes.. I don't think this rumor is true either.

Well if this IS true (which I hope it is not), I will give that it DOES make sense to start with the ERT. They have a very typical military camo look, are human figures, have variations, and can have a number of cool accessories. HOWEVER I think they are just a little too normal to be put out this early in the line without something a little more exciting. Yes they are cool, but most people won't look and say STAR WARS!!! like they would with the more iconic stormtrooper or Rebel Fleet Trooper. Standing on its own, it just looks like another military figure. It only looks Star Wars-esque when put with other Endor figures (of which we have none....).

I hope this isn't true, and that we get THE REBEL FLEET TROOPER instead! (or maybe, even, possibly, the great CAPTAIN ANTILLES?!?!?!)
:D

I'm hoping that if this was not true, Dusty or someone from Sideshow would let us know pretty quickly. Unless they're laughing at us.

So, since they've not denied it, maybe it is true.

I even went to a Borders and Barnes and Nobles today to see if they had a copy of the new Insider. Nope. I dont mind the idea of a Endor Trooper, but 3 I don't know. I think I am like a lot of those here I could deal with 3 troopers.

don't worry, I'm sure we are.
I think most of us will be happy if we are.

Also has anyone found the forum where this started? I have looked at ones I know, but no luck.

I mean I like endor troopers as much as the next guy, but there are LOTS and LOTS of more lines done before them.

I wasnt sure if this was true or not but if it was at least the troops line was starting and with a bang.
I would guess if Sideshow did give us 3 different troops one per month it would quickly build the troop regiment.
Imagine getting a Shocktrooper one month, a 501st the next and a Utaupa clone the one after that.

Three easy passes for me. I just don't get the army builder thing, at least not at $60 a pop (plus shipping). That'd be one expensive army.

It's ironic to me, but every time someone refers to these as toys, someone is sure to quickly and defensively reply that such a label is unjustified. Yet how can they be considered anything else if they are being used as army builders?
