Just thought I'd post some pics of the skull under my blue LED lamp. I'm also pretty bored.

The bottom of the combat version says "combat edition" on the felt..
the original clean version doesn't. Also- the box of the combat one has a sticker card that reads "combat edition". The outer shipping box says "combat veteran endoskeleton bust".

Could you please post pictures of the bottoms and... the blue nut?

that blue nut by the top spine bone on the endo all the way to the right

DAMN... I might have to do a THIRD video... lol

Fellas, DO NOT stop after applying the non acetone pads. Once you are done "cleaning", go out and buy a small bottle of Turtle Wax chrome polish!

I'm sorry, I just can't see why anyone would keep the battle damaged Endo unclean especially since it's just randomly sprayed black spray paint.. kinda silly to me. Almost lazy really by sideshow. If it were to be truly "battle damaged" they should have given it actual damage like divots and metal tears etc..

It would help those who don't know about this forum or the additional things to watch out for (paint on the nameplate and the on/off markings as well as the chrome polish).

Yeah, pretty lazy on their part, but I'm glad they were lazy as it makes it easy for us to have some outstanding chrome finishes on ours.

At least they didn't spray the teeth with black paint.

HAHA!!!!! Hey fellas I'll do another video tonight but it won't be until later as it's my Dad's birthday and I am at his place right now.

After this third video I'll just be deleting the other two, so it's not the same thing over and over again. I'll basically just start from the beginning and talk everyone through and then show the exact materials I used for mine. I'll also try to do this in a better lit area.

See ya soon...

Ive used the nail polish trick on a few things to get paint off.
The thing that scares me though is could it not take the siver off too ?.

I actually today used nail polish on a palisades aliens statue to get the front logo off which reads aliens. Now the black around the wording was coming off but if I pressed harder the letters came off too.

I didn't at first want the letters off but becuase one came off obviously I had to take them all off.

Could the silver not come off ?.

That's why you use the non-acetone pads (or non-acetone nail polish remover) that he mentions in his video. Equate brand, but they are not the only ones who make non-acetone products.

Avoid the regular acteone-based nail polish removers unless you know for sure they won't hurt the chrome. If you don't know, don't risk it on a $500+ item. If your brand of nail polish remover is unclear as to whether it is the acetone or non-acetone variety, check the back label and look for the word "acetone" in the ingredients listing. If it says acetone, don't use it.

Now, if someone shows that acetone can also be used, great, but why bother when abnpredator already showed that the non-acetone pads do the job perfectly?

So what does the acteone actually do ?.
I assume the chrome is simply paint too , how does it know the difference between the battle damage and the chrome paint ?.

I'm digging to deep into this I guess.
