So what does the acteone actually do ?.
I assume the chrome is simply paint too , how does it know the difference between the battle damage and the chrome paint ?.

I'm digging to deep into this I guess.

Acetone is a very strong solvent. The "chrome" on these figures, to my knowledge, is not paint. I am not sure what process they used, but it appears to be a vacuum metalized finish much like you find on a lot of synthetic materials. If it is actually electroplated chrome, even better.

Regardless, the underlying chrome finish is more robust than the black combat paint, so the paint comes off and the "chrome" doesn't. Make sense?

Abnpredator never used acetone on his statue and neither did felmar. Why chance it when it has been demonstrated that non-acetone polish removers work?

I'd stick with the already outlined procedure.

One other thing, try to use soft cloth when buffing the finish. Treat it like you would the paint on an expensive car.

I'm just paranoied. I think I've finally secured a bd version and I've had a hard time getting one. I was just thinking knowing my luck I will be the first one to rub the chrome off !. :monkey4:rotfl
I'll subscribe now too. :D

Badass man thank you bro. Not sure if you remember, but I sent you those the dead figure freebies a while back.. lol

In fact, I'll do the video tonight just for you dude, as if I'm walking ya through it.

Everyone who has "cleaned" their BD Endskull is happy? NO REGRETS??????????

Thank the forum gods! i wouldn't wanna be the first guy to have a work of art ruined.

I've started cleaning my combat endo as well. thanks abnpredator for the videos!! I forgot that the on/off words were on the back, so I unfortunately erased half of it. Oh well. At least I left the front logo alone. :D
