Well me and my brother decided to take the plunge and clean up our Combat Endo. We managed to clean up most of it, but we plan on touching it up some more to get the small crevices. I took a few pictures but unfortunately my lighting is terrible when it comes to taking pictures, so I don't know if you guys can see alot of the shine or how clean it is, and the pictures aren't clearest either cause of the lighting. I plan on taking some outdoor shots, but it's gonna have to wait until at least Tuesday at the earliest as it's gonna be raining quite a bit the next few days.

So anyway here's a few pics for right now, I posted pics of it when it was still BD at the beginning of this thread. Once I take the outdoor shots, you should be able to really tell the difference. I apologize for the mess on my shelf, I haven't gotten around to clearing it off yet.

Congratulations, it looks as good as the others! You might not want to remove paint from ALL of the crevices...it gives it depth. Even the clean versions had paint in some of the recessed areas.

Admit it...you are glad you cleaned it.

Yep I'm glad I cleaned it, it looks fantastic in person! :D I'll probably leave some of the crevices alone, I'm just mostly gonna look over it again to make sure I didn't miss any obvious spots.
hence the BD versions...:lol

True enough. :lol I think it still gives it a bit of a BD look, but it's just a hell of alot shinier now! :banana :D

Very nice.

Pound for pound, one of the best collectibles out there.

Did either of you clean out the microchip well?

I didn't clean out the microchip well either. I noticed a few spots that I missed so I'll be going over mine again, but I'll probably leave some of the crevices as is.

My BD endoskull is at Dutch customs at the moment and I'll expect it to be here this week! Can't wait for that and, because of all the succes stories, I decided to clean him too (how can I NOT clean him after all the pictures and videos? :D) The thing is: in the Netherlands the selection of polish removers is a lot smaller and I don't really feel like experimenting on my skull.

So I would like to ask one of the US boardmembers a favor. Can one of you buy a box of Equate: Non-Acetone Polish Remover Pads (the one that is mentioned in the videos of abnpredator), remove them from the carton box and ship them to me in an envelope? I have paypal so I can send money for the pads and postage upfront. This would be greatly appreciated and I promise to make 'before and after cleaning' pictures :banana
