I would love to see how many Manchester United fans would abandon ship if they ever went through what us Arsenal fans have been going through for the past 9 years. I think at least 50% of their fanbase is made up of glory-hunters from London, who 'support' Manchester United because of their success. Many of them don't know what it's like to actually fight for success and endure tough times when things don't neccessarily always go your way.

Win, Lose, or Draw; I'll always support Arsenal.

With many (not all) man Utd fans, I fear it's a Win only love affair. Lose or Draw, they may start to look elsewhere.

It's been even worse for us Liverpool fans in the last few seasons. We all get mad but you stick with them through the bad times. It makes the good times feel so much better. :lol

We have to play a lot better to beat Spurs. I'm sure we will though. Should be a cracker. My nerves can't handle another 5-4 or something. More like the Arsenal match will do me. :D

Hopefully that result gives the players a reality check that they are not invincible, I thought we played pretty well but once they pulled a goal back we looked very nervy. But the 3 points is all that matters:yess:

That's what makes ther Premier League better than any other League in Europe; the sheer determination of "poor" teams to not give up and the fact that a team placed 20th can easily beat a team placed 1st. You cannot take anything for granted in this League, and teams cannot go into games thinking they are entitled to the win and it will just happen for them.

The Bundesliga, La Liga, Scottish Premier League etc. are all a joke. Bayern Munich have just won the Bundesliga title by 25 points with 7 games to spare. La Liga is ALWAYS either Barcelona or Real Madrid, with a huge points gap between them and 3rd place (although not this year). The SPL is always Glasgow Rangers or Celtic (before Rangers were relegated, but they will be back soon), and Celtic have just won the Championship for this year.

Very very typical British idea... its those teams placed in the 20th beating teams placed 1st that decide all the leagues irrespective of which it is. I doubt you watch the other leagues to even comment like that. Guardiola once said "You dont win La Liga by beating Real Madrid twice, you win it by ensuring you dont get beaten or drop points against all the others" Thats how it always works

Ironically if you look at the Premier League, it should technically be called a one horse league, ManU seems to be on the winners podium most of the time ever since Ive seen it. So? The current Bayern is one of the strongest Bayern teams I have seen, much much stronger than the fabled Effenberg led one. So its no doubt they won it like that. The previous winners were Dortmund who won it 2 consecutive times too.

As for La Liga being only Real or Barca... it has been Barca for the last 4 out of 5 years... before that it was Real and Valencia. Barca had been underachievers for as long as I have been seeing them. It has only been after 2005 that Barca started showing what they were ( barring the slump in 2007 and 08)

The Premier League is as competitive because you follow it that intently. Follow another league and you will see the same vibrancy, same upsets, same mahematical separations and agony... just different club names.

In the UK every major league is on Tv & is shown here just as much as the Prem. Football is huge in the UK & most football fans are as interested in the foreign leagues (especially La Liga) as the Prem.
The problem with the other leagues is the so called lesser teams can't keep there players. In the 90's Utd dominated & it was boring but things changed & the other teams got richer & richer & could hold on to there players. That's what needs to happen in La Liga & the Bundesliga. In Spain most of the TV money goes to Real & Barca were here it gets spread out more evenly. Also Real, Barca & I think Athletico & Bilbao get big tax breaks were the others don't & then simply can't compete. You see year after year a team in Spain looking to put an exciting team together only to get dismantled which looks be Athetico next which is a shame.

Nothing typical about what I'm saying :dunno European Leagues are shown every week on BT Sport, Sky Sports, ESPN etc. so I can see just how non-competitive those Leagues are.

The Premier League has NEVER been won by 20+ points and 7 games to go.

I think we can all agree that the Scottish Premier League is the biggest waste of time ever. Celtic have just won the league with something like seven games to go and are 26 points ahead of second placed Aberdeen.

Moyes: "I think that if Sir Alex was here this year it would be difficult for him as well and he would be aware of that."

My god, hes sunk to new unimaginable lows

Hopefully Arsenal can do there selves & Liverpool a huge favour & beat City. There only lost one game at the Emirates & that was Villa the 1st game of the season. I would love to see Pool win the title.

I can't see Arsenal doing it though :/

Not looking good. **** me Arsenal suck now :(

Arsenal were great in the 2nd half. :clap

Hope Liverpool can get the job done against Spurs now.
