Honestly looking at this pic... with the saturation removed... the EB sculpt is better. The cloth bandana helps sell it more too. Still getting both probably.

Honestly looking at this pic... with the saturation removed... the EB sculpt is better. The cloth bandana helps sell it more too. Still getting both probably.
I really think that with his head upright and a different eye position, the EB head will look less sinister and more like this.
Between the lighting and angle, he does look fairly evil in the EB shot, but, it just looks like Johnny Depp smirking and it's those 2 factors giving the emotion to the shot. From my own photography experiences, it's amazing the different expressions you can get from some sculpts with angle and lighting differences.

I'm sorry to hear that about you... sad too as Kato E and Trevolver started a Plainview interest thread just while you were posting that.
Sadly, since there was no posted interest w/in the first 30 seconds they deleted it and moved on
I agree with you MF on this one. The angle of the head is adding to the sinister look. I'm really excited to see what EB can deliver on this one

I really like the Enterbay sculpt, it has a great likeness, looks fantastic.

I really like both, but there is room for improvement on each of them. Unfortunately, even if Enterbay's is head is better, Ill go with the HT version because of the problems with E's bodies and also Im a big fan of PERS. I love moving the eyes. Adds so much to the character. I wonder if Enterbay is going to add their moving eyes to counter HT's?

Looking at them both the Enterbay is definitely the winner so far. Their HS on the HT body and costuming for me would be the best Jack Sparrow by far of course if their track record is any indication, the HT will have a v6 before Enterbay's is released.

Totally agree! The face sculpt on the EB looks brilliant and if their Jack Bauer is anything to go by, then this should look superb! Clothes look good too! (from what you can see lol) HT clothes look a bit bulky. EB need to sort the bandana out tho - HT have made theirs look a lot more accurate in shape - however, Jack's bandana looked more like EB in the first film, the next too films it was a different shape.

I actually really like both the EB & HT figures from the Pics where seen so far. It's easy to compare but there both got there strenghs, it's just deciding which one. Wish I could afford them both.

I guess we should probably wait till the figures are released... or least pre-order images...
There's is one thing i know.. Enterbay is not great at releasing things. They previewed Kobe (weeks ago) and Leon the Professional (months ago) and neither figure is even up for pre-order. Hot toys WILL release a figure once they show prototypes.

I've been keeping a watch out for Leon since the announcement, I so hope that turns out great, that's a figure I need in my collection.

I believe they're still in the switching manufacturing plants (or whatever that mess is) and most of their prototype figures have been put on hold, but maybe with them announcing their Jack Sparrow, it means that they've finally settled in to a new place? let's hope so, so then production and proceed
