....and finally, the curtain closes for me on what could be one of the best figures made to date. Sad but true as I have finally sold my Enterbay T-800 Battle Damaged figure for what has to be said, a surprisingly decent price. It was a toss up between this and the clean version but in the end my clean T-800 on Harley display just out displayed its predecessor.
What may prove to be a blessing is the imminent arrival of the Enterbay T-1000 which may indeed display perfectly with my Clean T-800 but for those who have the T-800 BD figure, it will equally display well with that too
I have enjoyed my time with such Enterbay figures such as the Dark Knight, 2 Rambo's and now the BD T-800 but due to unforeseen changes to my collection I've had to let them go. However, the T-800 BD figure was the hardest choice to make in terms of deciding to sell it. Its a known fact that its probably 85% the best 1/4 figure made to date in terms of likeness and accuracy so for that reason alone i'll be sad to see it go. As for the down sides, well there aren't too many really. Would like to have had that extra option of having a full arm on the damaged side to maybe bust out a few more poses but that arm is pretty poseless due to it being damaged so it kinda' limits your poses (another reason why I've stuck with the clean version) and I wish Enterbay would funk up their bases a little more. Would be nice to have a bit more diorama to them, similar to that of the new Hot Toys 1/4 line as I noticed the new Enterbay Robocop 1/4 figure has a pretty mundane base for it
by the way, that Robocop figure is a 100% purchase for me! Looks awesome
So to summarise, for those who are still thinking about getting the T-800 Battle Damaged figure by Enterbay or those who have theirs on order, then I can only say that you will be getting an awesome figure that is worth every penny! The likeness alone will have you mesmerised! I'll just find it hard to see everyones amazing pics and realise what I'll be missing
