My rule has reallly backfired. It was one per character, now I'll have two T-800's, Two Jokers, Two Bruce Waynes, etc

I have the same rule, but I will eventually have the DX10, DX13 and this. Hey, some movies just need to be exempt from rules.

Do any of you guys know how much EB charges for the shipping? I'm torn between ordering with them or this Timcent guy so I'm trying to see if the $100 dollar price change on Ebay is actually worth it.

Well you've just got to have a figure thats all Arnie because Arnie is one of the most toyetic human males on the planet and, because its Terminator, you've also got to have a figure that shows endoskeleton. So thats a clean AND battle-damage T-800. I could never fathom having only one.

With mine shipped now I am beyond thrilled. This figure seems destined to become one of those instant favourites that stays a favourite.

Indeed! If they keep making pieces this fine I just might have to centralize my entire collecting to just T1/T2.

It's actually a good thing EB and HT's hate each other so much :lol

I'd love to have the strength to do that. Figures like the HT Keaton Batman, Reeve Superman and DX11 Joker really **** up an otherwise fully armoured, hyper-alloy combat chassis, tough resolve.

Well said:exactly: I love terminator and all but its not the end all be all in my collection. Its nice to step out and try other licenses once in a while, I love my keaton and reeves figures as well as my wolverine and spidermans. I also was glad to pick up naked snake to, what an amazing figure, it looks so good, it don't pose well but the detail and sculpt along with the accessoires makes for a awesome one off figure. Of course you would have to be a fan to pick up a figure like that but if you are its quite rewarding.

The trick is not to go overboard with every license, a collection can start to look like crap when you have no rhyme or reason to it. I do have some pieces that don't fit in and thats where I use the single figure display cases that I put on a shelf in my bedroom.

It's actually a really good feeling getting rid of them too. I just sold off a lot of figures and it's sort of like cleansing your collection.

I've drawn a line and said I'm only buying characters I really love and mean something to my past or childhood.

For example I just sold Nick Fury, great figure , cool as, but I have no other Avengers and he's not even Nick Fury from the comics so I was like "why do I even own that?" :rotfl

My most out of place figure is probably the Hot Toys Sergeant Barnes from Platoon. And the Enterbay Jack Bauer. I have nothing else that technically goes with either of those figures but one of them is from probably my favourite war movie and the other is from one of my favourite ever tv shows.

I did just that resently, I sold off some odd and end pieces I did'nt really dig anymore, ironman mark3 bd, blade, king leo, masterpiece megatron, 3a dropcloth, medicom snake, ht platoon charle sheen, ss firefly and a few other I can't think of. Made a small fortune too, I only bought two figures with the money, enterbay t-800 and ht naked snake, the rest went to x-mas gifts for my wife, she made out good this year:)

Yeah I got barnes to, and just sold charle sheen so yeah its out of place in my collection to. I also got only one sideshow dead figure, the punk, but I want more zombies so he stays, hoping someone picks up the walking dead license already, those need to be made in 1:6:gah:

Hey I didn't say I could actually do it :lol

Then I'm glad not to be alone in the struggle. Certainly if I had to, as in was actually forced to by certain persons in response to certain circumstances, I would cut everything else and just collect Terminator. It would be painful to sell some of these things and to resist certain new things but I could accept it and be thankful for the Terminator stuff alone.

EB sometimes makes me feel the dark age of premium format is coming...

In the words of the immortal John Travolta, "OOOOOOH WEE, you good lookin'!"

If 1/4 scale is your thing, I can't imagine why anyone would choose a PF with their outdated paint apps. over something with such a high level of realism.
