i wouldnt mind getting a head count on how peeps on buys this, either Timcent on e-bay, BBTS or through enterbay themselves. i brought the first EB T-800 through ebay and had no probs but its 50bucks extra and i want to buy directly through EB - if some is wrong or missing, whats the go with returns, shipping etc? i thought i read if something is wrong and you need to send it back you have to cover the cost - which stinks!!!

Am i right?

They have offered to pay for shipping in the past if you send them a scan of the postage receipt. They don't allow you to return the figure for a refund, though.
Another issue with them is they might take a while to reply to you and even if you do manage to get them to allow you to send the figure back for repair, they might not actually do anything to it and send it right back after six weeks of waiting. That's what happened with one of the customers who bought the Rambo directly from them.

Not everyone ordering from EB is this unlucky, but I personally think its worth the extra money to buy from someone who actually cares about customer satisfaction.

I gained access to the EB site but it looks weird https://m.enterbay.com/detail/95

It works though, and you can preorder and pay with paypal, but by the time the figure is released your 45 days protection will be up. Although i'm sure Enterbay will send it once it's in stock

I think you will be just fine ordering from them. It's $375 plus $60 shipping & EB tends to mark items low value :wink1: There is no need to pay well over $500 for this figure!

I paid less than $500 - shipped - and am optimistic that I won't get hit by customs either. And I might have it next week. I'm happy.

First batch was already released this month. Think Enterbay also sold them through their local shop in Hong Kong.

Shame about the light only being on for a short time, the neca fig had that lol

It did, and come to think of it Bill posted a picture of the NECA figure shortly before the full reveal. It is possibly they took the idea from that. Maybe even some sculpting tips on how to do Arnie's hair in a way that doesn't look ridiculous.

Be extremely careful with that 45 day protection. Enterbay tried to use this to burn me on my Batman. They had initially shipped me the wrong figure (1/6 Bruce Lee instead of Batman). Tried to email them...no response. Then I emailed them about the status of my Batman and they kept telling me that it would ship soon. At last, they wrote me an email telling me that it has already shipped, not realizing that they shipped the wrong thing to me, despite the fact I told them countless times.

Of course by this point, the 45 day protection was already over...and they tried to use it against me. I had to beg PayPal to grant me an exception to conduct an investigation. After more than 2 months of crap from Enterbay, they finally sent the Batman. :slap

Yeah, that's another issue. At least with Rambo he shipped one to one-and-a-half weeks after the PO went up so that 45-day protection plan was still applicable. With this guy, you can forget it. Meaning if something goes wrong, you have one less thing to threaten EB with -- and that's what I and other members ended up having to do in the past.

If Enterbay are this bad doing this. Why not just let retailer sell their stuff???? Just like hot toys. Obviously they are bad as 3 in 4 buying from them will experience some issues. Some retailer even said helping EB sell have low profit, compare to hot toys. So in a sense EB is basically shooting themselves in their foot. Not enough retailer willing to take up their stock and they themselves are not doing it good enough.

They have a North American distributor, but unlike Sideshow (which is the one for Hot Toys), that distributor isn't a retailer itself.

After seeing all those great shoots of the actual figure and hearing nothing but positive feedback about buying from timcent, I am about to pull the trigger.

If I am ordering from timcent, do I need to explicitly ask him to inspect the figure (i.e. joints, paint job, accessories) and write a lower value on the package?

Yes. The problem is, the price will escalate if you do not deal with them directly. To get some reasonable service from distributor we always have to pay a premium to ensure the figure is good. One of it is greed onEB side, e.g. EB sold 350$ to distributor, you think they will sell it at 375$? No item this price should warrant a profit above 50$-75$ per item.

Collector of such exp figure don't deserve such dilemma. instead EB want us to choose to gamble on bad service, or premium for better service. Which is **** to me.
