Had zero interst in this when it was announced but, bad futzing aside, this looks great to me. The Bale sculpt is horrid but I wouldn't use it anyway. I may actually pick this one up.

My gf is buying this from the EB store when it comes out. You guys are nitpicking things that can easily be adjusted. Cape can go under the cowl because the cowl is removable. Belt can be lowered on the waste.

EB should definitely check their figures when displaying.

The only fault i can raise outside of enterbays inability to pose a figure well, is that the suit could do with being more shiny. Aside from that this thing is stunning. Might have to go for the double. Gonna be an expensive month.

It's the lighting KORNdog. In some other shots - looks more glossy. The real movie suit is the same way.

I love Both of these. However I will definitely matte the cowl and fix the cape clips as well as make a custom cape using the hero template just in 1/4 scale.

I've just been looking and it really isnt. The cowl should have the same level if gloss (or lack of) as the suit. There is a clear and massive difference between suit and cowl tho. I'm buying it either way cos it just looks too awesome. But i would like the suit to be slightly more shiny.

I might be crazy but the HT OC Bat does not have the same level of gloss on cowl and suit. It has been this way for a bit and I'm very positive it is the same in the movie in many scenes.

The best lit scene is the final confrontation with Ra's Al Ghul with the train lights on him before he detonates the rear end and floats out.

I'm basing my comments on the suit worn by bale

There is no noticably difference between suit and cowl there. And it isnt completely matte black either. There is a slight shine to it.

Fortunately, the gauntlets should be an fix as you can just get Testors Model Master spray gloss clearcoat. No need to be a pro, just dont spray in one area and spray evenly and it should be pretty easy.

True but, like vodoun was saying earlier, some of the gauntlets that have been treated that way on the HT figure look too glossy. I mean they look like they are forever wet.

We need to find something that represents the sheen acuratly.

No kidding. They are doing themselves a real disservice.

You're right. The real suit has a shine too it and it definitely doesn't look like chalk. :lol

Best example:

See how BOTH the cowl AND the suit are picking up light reflections? Now compare that to the EB figure which only reflects light on the cowl, NOT the suit.

The BB suit is supposed to be the same exact material and color as the gloves AND the cowl.

I'll probably try this semi-gloss on my other HT BB Bruce Wayne gloves and see if this is better. I did use regular gloss on my OC bats and very wetlike glossy.
