No one can deny their recent sculpts have all had the same soft lacking in detail look to them. Rory is completely right.

This could be my first doll that I would proudly own and keep :)

Are they planning on making a 1/6 version of that? Oh man, that's AWESOME!

Yeah, this will be my first 1/4 figure for sure - oh man I can only imagine how cool their Robocop will be.

You know, I'm becoming less and less impressed with Hot Toys releases and more empressed with EB. There was a time when HT used get gasps of awe and wonder when pics were released. Not anymore, they need a radical rethink on their business/quality strategy or they will be terminated. **** you HT with your soft vinyl heads, this is the real deal.

Minus the **** you, i feel the same way. HT has been spreading itself way to thin. Taking on more project then they can handle and half assing them. The difference between proto and finished product has become scary at some times. This used to be their strong point.

You need to listen to MIke Crawford on the The Hottoycast so you understand the clear definition of what a doll is and what an action figure is.
ie Barbie is the first action figure.
Dolls have a whole other reason for being.

It is incorrect to refer to these as dolls. Unless of course you cradle yours and feed it milk. ;)

I'm very excited for this now. Yesterday I wasn't even gonna buy it. Breaking my own 1/4 scale rules again.

Holy chit.

No words.

This will be mine.*

This is seriously amazing, wow. The light up eye looks terrific. And the damage is absolutely spot on, right down to the light scratches on his forehead. insane work from enterbay.

The burst of adrenaline I got when I seen it was not even funny!

:lecture

I'm with you on that. Not really into 1/4 but EB seems to be doing a good job thus far (minus QC issues with Rambo)

I don't entirely trust their bodies, less so than I do HT. I fear breakage, and on a hugely expensive 1:4 figure that would be harder to bear.

I also wish they would go the all-in-one head and neck route on their 1:4 figures. Having a visible joint seam up there under the jaw takes away from the realism and IMO also harmed the profile likeness on the first T-800 figure. Remains to be seen what the profile looks like on this one.

I hope it's the angle compared to the screen shot but the above the eyebrow and cheek mark on the left side are the wrong shape.

But all in all this is a stunning piece.

Damn... just when I had talked myself out of 1/4 scale collecting.
