I actually don't like that. It puts me on edge to be honest, wondering if I'll have the money for it whenever they spring it on us, wondering where I'll get it that I won't get ****ed on either shipping or customs.

It definitely has its pros and cons. Less of a wait, which is the worst part, but less time to find where to get the extra $.:lol

Amazing. It seems with every EB 1/4 release, the quality gets better. The only thing they need to fix on a consistent basis is the long leg issues on some of their figures. Even though these get released right away, if you don't need the ex, these will be around for a long time at a much cheaper price.

Bill is king of the teasers; Howard not so much.

HT will show theirs after the EB release.

Gotta love the competition though.

Incredible- EB has topped themselves..I want to see rest of the BD body, though. Was so happy with my EB T 800 and now I'm going to have to get this one, too!

I warned you about coming into this thread, I knew you'd want it :rotfl Assuming production looks like the pics, it is amazing.

Pretty much agreed. Still I guess releasing a teaser of their BD Arnie would be like them competing with themselves. Being that their DX just released.

Amazing headsculpt! But at the moment I don't have complete faith in enterbay bodies. And the proportions of the first arnie body look odd to me. If that is corrected this will be the best figure I'll have ever seen

I, too, am curious about the bodies. My Rambo's been in a simple standing pose for a few months and his knees feel slightly wobbly (I'm hoping it's just "surface" wobble that moves a few millimeters before the ratchet joint stops it). In any case, it's clear that 1/4 figures cannot be built the same way as 1/6 figures. We can't use the same sizes of screws, the same plastic thickness, etc. to support the weight of a larger figure. Every company needs to understand this, EB with their next 1/4 releases and HT with their first ones.

Y'know I never did manage to download that T-1000 arrival track off youtube. Annoying. It was the better one of the 2 'missing' tracks we discovered. The other one was a bit of a mish mash of some new stuff and some stuff thats already on the official soundtrack.

You haven't got the original EB T-800? Well I like the sound of your plan. Sounds like you'll get all the most memorable T2 looks covered.

What?!
I needed to different sites/converters for that, but I got it.
And I love both, just having a more complete score.

:hi5:

But I like the sound too...even more the more I think about it.
Having this beast of a figure in my shelf.
I would even stockpile my 6" in one shelf just to get him into my new lit up detolfs.

:thud:

Sculpt is way better than their first T-800.

Can't expect the paint apps to translate as great in production though.

Only way to top this from HT is for them to release Marty McFly!!

Seen this on EB Facebook that made me laugh...

But A-Dev... they like... announced this 8 months ago. I'm pretty sure these aren't production pics because I think these were the same ones YJ showed me on his phone.

If I had a tight budget, I would have started to save for it back then... and if the final production piece or prototype didn't meet my expectations, i would skip it. Then i'd have 350 saved up to either keep aside for the next expected item which i don't need to save for anymore. Or be fully worry-free and make my purchase if it meets my standards.

Although Enterbay does release after the official photos come out, they announce most of what they are going to make months in advance. I mean, even though we don't have any teasers, we still know Rocky and Robocop will be coming... and if i was interested, i'd start saving by now.

It looks to be the same sculpt just with the damage added? Which is what I really like. If it was hot toys or some other company it would probably be a completely new sculpt. With it being the same one it will display so much better IMO.

Or do you just mean it looks better because of the damage :lol

Wait is it actually the same sculpt :lol

I think they do translate pretty well (in comparison to another company of late).
The 1/4 Batman was almost identical as was Joker?
So fingers crossed.

I've been saving ahead so luckily I can pick this up without messing up the xmas budget. Sculpt and packaging look great, can't wait for the full reveal. :)

Fair enough, my tough luck if I don't have the money saved. Unfortunately in my situation any money I save has to be for something else non-toy-related. My toy purchases for the past few months have been entirely dependant on sales of other toys.

Regardless of the money situation though, I still prefer HT way of doing things. At least with them theres a chance a figure with obvious problems will get improved as a result of fan feedback. And I'm one of the guys who finds EB's teaser stuff annoying as ****.

I'm with A-Dev, I for one never expected this to be out this year let alone this side of Christmas, Hot Toys way of releasing products is much better

Yeah thats the thing. The sense of unpredictability about when an EB figure will be released. I mean its usually a safe bet that they won't meet their initial date that they've told us. Beyond that you just don't know. Thing could be cancelled even. The Prison Break fiasco wasn't that long ago.

One thing about Enterbay that I like is that theres a short distance between product reveal and shipment.

But it could take a while for U.S. retailers to get it.

Batman Enterbay is still showing as pre-order on BBTS :slap

I ordered Batman from EB directly, their customer service sucks.

The fastest way to get it probably through eBay, which is $100-ish more than retail.
