Especially when you take close up shots. Certain lighting can make the sculpt look like he chose the wrong cup of Christ. Others with the speckles can make the sculpt look as if it's had a bad skin disease.

The lines around his mouth for sure hurt it, he has them in the movie, but they're more subtle than the figure, and I think the veins and such on his temples and forehead are a bit too pronounced, it adds realism to the sculpt but I think it makes it feel older. The EB portrait is really soft looking and perfect for his youthful look.

Like how I felt about the HT sculpt, it has the characteristic traits of Arnold no doubt. But like most of the HT sculpts, they make it too perfectly well rounded. You won't see any flaws of the real person's face.

Look at T2 T-800, the new Batman Begins Bruce Wayne (first night out), and Hot Toys Prince of Persia.

Enterbay's sculpt nails the spot perfectly with the passive aggressiveness of the T-800. I do believe the Hot Toys sculpt does greatly for the tech noir which was an aggressive killer of course.

But T2's T-800 is a guardian and protector. He is passive and obedient by nature to carry out his duties to the end. If you're a big Arnold/T2 fan and are you are looking to pick up a T2 memorabilia, I feel this one is the one to get. Don't let the Enterbay hate blind out what's really good. Everyone ____s up. You're cheating yourself if you think this box set is inferior because of brand name; it's not. Real leather jacket and pants, real metal and wooden components in the accessories. You know what I hate the most about Hot Toys costumes? Glued on buttons that fall off. Yeah. No thanks.

And the bit about the jawline, I think it was compromised for neck articulation. Plus Arnold is a much older gentlemen in the movie. He has shrunken a bit since T1.

Just my $0.02.

the jawline looks fine, it's the space between his jawline and neck that's missing, though likely for articulation, but it was a trademark feature in T2 so in views where the brain expects to see it from real Arnold, you notice it missing.

Thats what I meant. His double chin'ish thing looks more Arnie like in person.

Does anybody know where I could find a protective case to put over this guy? Since he's too big to fit in a detolf, I have to display him on a dresser, but I dont wanna have him uncovered due to dust, etc. Something like a case for a football but just big enough to fit over top would be ideal.

Dammit! i just ordered it from Enterbay which they had it in stock yesterday and today its back to a preo shipping in FEB. I WANT IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of those figures that you have to man handle quite a bit to change hands, pose etc! It's a shame because my wierdness in terms of this hobby makes it feel like it's not brand spanking new anymore, lol!

Also his left foot has become a bit loose, maybe due to the weight he has up top. I hope he doesn't shelf dive. The joints are pretty crap on this thing in his legs. His arms are ok and the neck is fantastic but his legs - ughhh.

Doing the classic one handed shotgun pose is also hard as his hand flops down a bit due to the weight of the shotgun. I must admit it's cool that it's real metal etc but i'd have preferred a plastic one for this very reason. The good news is he looks brilliant holding the shotgun with 2 hands, something I thought the HT version lacked.

Station, the member on here, makes custom cases, with engraved logos and lights and stuff. I may get one for him. PM him!

I have mine in the 'shotgun in one hand' pose, have done since i got him and he's held it perfectly since i got him. But then i dont constantly change his pose so his joins arnt even remotely loose.

Not looking forward to these joints I'm hearing about. First its hard to pose because they're tight and restrictive and then they end up being too loose, is that what I'm hearing?

What you are hearing is paranoia & OCD... and after being so many years in the hobby If you guys cant fix loose joints, then the hobby has taught you nothing, or you are too spoiled. :nono

Well, the legs are slightly toyish looking but thats my only complaint. 100% buy this figure, don't worry about the joints. Just dont repeatedly swap the arms over like I did.

I cant stop fidling with him! He's getting so loose! I need to stop :(

One of the things that I do is download every photo that I can find on the figure and pick the pose that I like the best and put the figure in that pose and leave him alone. That way the figure does'nt get handled to the point that I have worn it out.
