wow! those look great, thanks for sharing the picts!

Those are really beautiful pics. Season 8 Jack Bauer comes to life.

thanks slot guys. much appreciated :)

OK ordered the subway figure from 7toys7 on ebay. So I'll have a choice of 3 outfits for Jack, the season 4 gear from the EB figure itself, the medicom season 5 outfit and now the season 8. The quality of these clothes looks top notch.

congrats buddy, I hope you will like it. but imo for that price it's amazing what we're getting here. superb clothing and lovely accessories. can't wait to see some pics of your jack then :wink1:

I just googled the 24 subway hero figure, and over at OSW, there are some good pictures of the figure!

I'm so tempted to get the figure already...but I just got like 2 hot toys this month...so Im a little short on cash...but man, the accesories are excellent, the face sculpt ain't that bad either I think....

You should get it while he's still cheap. I'll get another set as the accessories and suit can be used for other figures customization. The price here in Singapore is $75.

is anyone not using his eb bauer body and wants to get rid of it? I'm currently looking for one, so please let me know and shoot me a pm :)

Wow, great shots there. This thing is quality. The headsculpt is probably the best one out there after the Enterbay, I don't think I'll have any shame in displaying that. I'll put the medicom clothes on the subway figure though I think. I want the EB head with these new clothes.

I got this figure off a member here on the forum. From examining pictures online, I feel that my head sculpt has some flaws. Can someone confirm or deny my insanity? lol.

There's a discoloration near the right eyebrow, and the nose. Also the forehead has a slight dirtiness to it(almost make it look like battle damage jack..like he had a long day).

This the same with yours as well?

You definitely have a paint rub on the brow and nose.

I have seen widely varying "shadow" effect around the hairline and beard so I'm not sure if that's a defect.

So what should I do? How does dry brushing work and what is the color I need to get? Or should I just leave it?

I would mix up a flesh tone as close as I could get to what's there and then thin it out a LOT. Apply multiple thin coats. You can get an idea how well your mix matches and adjust it without a blotchy mess. It helps that his skin is pretty blotchy, anyway.

I wouldn't worry about the 'dirtyness' look - YoNoSe is probably right about what it is plus it wouldn't be far fetched that Jack would have dirt on his face anyway.

I'd definitely want to tackle those paint rubs though.

I'm still kicking myself for not picking Jack up so many years ago, but still $200 was/is a lot for a the fairly barebones release that he was, that headsculpt is just so good. Considering this bootleg is only $90. . . but I just have moral issues with bootlegs in general, so I can't really pick it up.

From what I gather in this thread, most people are only picking up the Subway figure to upgrade the wardrobe for Enterbay Jack Bauer :lol.

Also, at this point in time, I doubt that Kiefer Sutherland or the creators of 24 would even care if someone decided to make a few bootlegs. In fact, it might help them out. They need as much advertising as they can get to help support the production of the 24 movie!

What can cause paint rubs? The foam that's holding the figure? can I just put a plastc bag over the head to prevent the rub like the company DAM Toy does?

Folks, has anyone put the EB Jack head onto an RM-5? I had a spare Scarface one lying around and I tried the head I have (not EB) and it looked good. I have a headless Han body imminent and will see what it's like.

My Scarface and loose nude stand really well and the joints are all nice and tight. I think this is the body the RM-1 should have been. Apart from the hands, I think everything will be a straight swap. I have some Leon hands on order for mine.

I'll post some pics when I get mine fully together.

There is one on eBay, but over £200 is a bit steep for a figure I'd be replacing the body on.

Mine has a cheap t-shirt and Kunch gear so I didn't need any EB gear.

BTW, I got the RM-5 earlier and it is great, just the body he always needed.
