A Laker fan from Texas!?

I kid, really.

I'm a Laker fan, but there are players that transcend the game. Jordan is one of those players. I'm going to pick up the red jersey version.

I would have picked up Kobe, but the sculpts were goofy. I'll wait for a 2.0 or I'll live without. Give me a Magic or Kareem or Cooper or Rambis or Scott or Worthy or.....

lol I know right. naw, but for real, i'm actually from southern california (pretty much born and raised there my whole life), just currently been in texas for the last 7 years or so for school and then work now.

I agree about kobe. that was the one figure I really wanted, but like you I can't look past that fugly face sculpt. I too am hoping for a version 2. my most wanted figure is Magic and J.West! but if I could get all the laker players who have got their numbers retired (magic, shaq, west, worthy, chamberlain, Goodrich, wilkes, Baylor, jabbar) that would be a dream come true! heres a pic of my 2 autographed laker jerseys hanging on my wall ( my intention is to get all of them eventually)

i agree. lol the lebron figure is pretty on point, but i can't seem to get myself to buy it. i too am a lakers fan but i'm a kobe fan first, and if there was no Jordan, there would have been no kobe. that's the truth.

It doesn't look like it's worth $180US. I also don't really want the Enterbay name so visible on the post. Are they playing in the EBA?

Other than that, it does look alright. At that price though, it might not be an instant purchase for me. Maybe if I have a slow spending month or something, I might get it, if it's still available.

Not only that... the backboard is not even NBA accurate. Why do they shorten the horizontal pole? or included the painted area all the way to the free throw line. otherwise I'd have ordered it.

Site says 10 days after ACGHK...isn't that now? This should be in hand soon for those that ordered. I haven't received any tracking info however I have seen that EB seems to rarely give that info anymore and products just show on doorstep. If anyone receives one in the US, please let us know.

I hate the Lakers, but I'd buy a Magic. Of course it would be dependent on them making a Bird for him to go with.

It would make for a good display with a Bird figure. So if both are made, yeah I'd buy Magic.

I just posted my enterbay backboard and compared it with my storm toys backboard on instagram. I am finding a hard time uploading it here through photobucket..

In summary, enterbay is a lot better than that of stormtoys backboard but it could have been better.

How is it height wise? How much taller is the enterbay and is it worth the $240?

Hmm. Might pull the trigger on the storm toys one then if its seriously not as great as it looks. Pictures wise it doesn't look at all that different. Just slightly bigger. Maybe slight better in quality as well.

Did you look closely at stormtoys rim? That alone would make me buy the eb backboard but not at 240.

Yeah. I noticed its plastic and slightly smaller. But I figured its just a display. It's not like I'm actually playing basketball on it. Lol. And I figured I'm just point ring jordan and kobe towards it. Just looks dumb that both my figures are in dunk positions looking at nothing but blank space. Haha it's just better to point them towards something. That something to me is not gonna be 240 if its not even that worth it. Lol
