I agree that the up-close pictures take away from the fig!... but what fig would look good when you are that close to it!! The real beauty of this peice of Art is at a distance when you can actually see Bruce in his glory!!!

Yes 300$ is pricy... but I'd rather spend that much on this fig then $130 on a ethiopian Predator or a Rambo fig that doesn't look like Rambo!!! ...and have you seen the pics of the Medicom Bruce... It barely looks like Bruce!!! :D

Yeah I am sorry I took a really close up photo. That was a dumb. I just wanted to show you guys that his eyes are brown, and quite detailed...

Again, I am sorry.

Don't be sorry sam. You are the first person to have it in hand, and your pics and appraisal are all we have to go by. Thanks for all your input and time taken to download pics etc. Is his bottom really that brown?

You should not have to repaint a $300.00 figure. That's just wrong!

looks great though!

actually, people keep saying the whole figure is $300.
you should think of the diorama as $180(realistic price), and the figure it self $120.
People were willing to repaint a $120 medicom figure, why not enterbay

Too bad you can't buy them separately. If the Enterbay were $120 (w/o base) I'd totally be down with buying one.

I would rather not have the display base or diorama set and have them pump more money and put more concentration on the final product of the sculpt in terms of detail and paint job then i would buy one definitly...

Thanks too, Chen Zen, it tells me it has arrived at Melbourne and is being processed. I have to pick up a parcel at 4p.m. It could be one of a number of things. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I saw this figure in person yesterday and was in awe. I'm having a hard time accepting the lack of love on the forum regarding this piece. The total package deserves respect. The price point is seemingly high and for the skeptics who think that's too much - please reserve judgement until you can see this piece in its entirety, up to and including the package. There is so much attention to detail on this and it starts with the box itself. The COA sits in a recessed area on on the top. The sleeve is heavy stock, the box made of heavy stock, and the foam inserts are set up in such a way that there is no mistaking the amount of effort placed on making sure this piece is unique. And that's before you actually get your hands on the figure itself. To truly appreciate it, one should take the time to give it a slow 360-degree turn in proper lighting and note the detail of each muscle, tendon, and texture in order to properly replicate Bruce Lee. Anyone who looks at this piece and thinks it's crap or thinks it needs a repaint...I can't believe we're looking at the same piece. I'm all about 'to each his own,' but it's hard to deny the beauty and quality of this figure in person.

I'll get a chance to examine it at my work tomorrow.

I can already tell that the box is awesome - love the yellow with the great rendering of Bruce on it. I love the wood box/diorama. You can definitely see the quality there.

And the body is for sure a home run - especially considering it is Bruce's exact measurements.

But the HS needs a repaint - IMO. I know that the HS is a dang good likeness of Bruce because the repaint brings out the details in the sculpt that the factory paint job doesn't.

But maybe it IS just the lighting in the photos? I'll see tomorrow.
