My custom pagoda dio being constructed :yess::yess::yess:

That's gonna be a beaut! :clap

Y4nk33, the footprint of the Enterbay base is 8 and 7/8 inches square and it is exactly 13.5" tall.

And rawkneehuang, my brown shipper came through NY Customs pretty well, but as I posted before, the slipcase with the edition number (#0098) was torn on one corner, and the lid to the box is split on three edges. Customs did not play nice when they examined the contents.

Thanks for the info gruff, looks like I'll go the singular pagoda route and maybe 1 day splurge on the custom like Tin Tin up there is doing :lol

wow...I actually asked Enterbay directly about fitting the new GoD heads to 3.5 bodies (in mid March) and they said the new heads would fit the old bodies.

Seriously, can EB do anything right? They can't even answer a simple question correctly.

Yeah, it's not like anything can change from the time of the proto pics to the release 3 months later :ohbfrank:

I'm going to incorporate the EB dio into the larger dio. It will be BL's onset "Changing Room" :wink1::lol

You're really going to claim they completely changed the neck joint in that time? Seriously? :ohbfrank:

You're right, 90+ days isn't enough time to make a change in this figure. They knew from the beginning the neck joint wouldn't be the same and just decided to take a big, hot, steaming dump on you b/c they felt like it. :ohbfrank:

Well I'm glad I wasn't too hasty with picking up one or both of the GoD heads, 'cause that was exactly what I was going to do. I guess even if you do the neck mod that some have done to fit the HT HS, it still won't fit because the EB ball is that much bigger.

EB released all their BL bodies for separate sale, but no word on whether they're looking at releasing these ones separately. It kind of limits those who want to display both heads doesn't it.

Ah EB, you are like the Alfa Romeo of the 1/6 figure world - beautiful but frustrating.

No my point is that there obviously wasn't any communication between departments and that the person answering customer service queries obviously had no idea what they were talking about, potentially leading to some very annoyed customers.

But no, the answer is obviously that the neck completely changed in that time :cuckoo:

Yep, the minimum wage CSR's are always the first to know about any potential changes in the product design. :lol

That was a good one LJ! :lol

I think the question to ask is whether the new ball joint neck is better than the old magnetic peg version. If making the change results in a better product - then I don't see an issue with it; even if it means that it is incompatible with previous heads.

You may be right. I pre-ordered the figure in early March and asked the question at the same time. At that time it had an April release.

The only reason I'm not stuck with a 3.5 body and GoD shoes now is my ebay order fell through. Lucky me!

I cancelled and got the pre-order refunded by Enterbay because based on what I'd read on this forum I decided they couldn't be trusted to deliver the product pics they were showing in the time period they were claiming.

So I learnt my lesson never to trust Enterbay's official company info without it costing me anything. Lucky me.

Good point. The ball joint neck definitely holds poses better, whereas the magnetic head/neck combo sometimes take a good deal of futzing to get it to sit just right and can slide down for almost no reason.

Sure, that change sucks for people who wanted to bash a Bruce from this kit and not spend the money on a full set, but in the long run it's a step in improving future figure release.

Well, then kudos to you. You were a step ahead and everything worked out for you - you lost no money and have no reason to complain.

So.........why are you trolling this thread again?
