But we can't be sure exactly how absurd the pricing is until we see what other sellers will be charging - I think the $15 sneakers a couple of people got a few weeks back was an anomaly (though $40+ is ridiculous).
 
I'mma see how my 'in suit' BL on my ebay watch list pans out, before making any decisions on the shoes :D
 
It might be too early to ask this, in which case I apologize, but what is the general consensus on this figure from those who have it? I really want to get a few Enterbay figures, specifically Kato and then one other figure, for my collection and this GoD seems like it would be the perfect figure. I probably won't throw down the 300 for it, but if I ever see it for less, I'd like to know if I should consider it.

And does Enterbay sell the new body separately? Looks like I'll need two if I want to make use out of everything that comes with the set.

Also, does the base fit in the Deotulf? I'm sorry if this was answered before, but there is almost 300 pages and I only have two eyes. That's about 150 pages per eye. It's just too much...
 
Okay, I have to correct an error I did in this tread, which I thought it would be okay to let you guys know.

I know that the gloves Bruce uses in "Enter the Dragon" have mostly been called “Kempo gloves”, but it is not correct. Someone made the mistake of calling them "Kempo gloves" and everyone followed with the same name for some strange reason (that is the explanation I have heard) – but I was a bit apprehensive when I wrote Kempo (as I seemed to remember the gloves originally being used in the Japanese art of Samurai swordsmanship and the word did not fit me well - and Kempo did not give my mind peace), so I did some double checking, and it turned out that my suspicion was right: These gloves where actually Kendo gloves. And again Bruce had modified/altered them by having the finger tips of the gloves cut off so that the fingers could be exposed for grabbing, trapping etc.

Ok let me start by answering some of your queries. Personally Ive NOT got the figure YET in hand (Enterbay said they'll ship mine in July) However those who have recieved it in the thread (Gruff, Rorywan and Manolis) are very happy with the final product (Gruff though had paint rubs in his figure so Enterbay are shipping him replacements)

The Best Bruce Lee's Enterbay have done considering overall package, sculpt, paint, body/head proportions the Fist of Fury and Kato are THE BEST! You cant go wrong with Kato... everyone here who owns it or had owned it LOVES it (I do, Its my favourite Enterbay figure at the moment) The GoD is WORTH the $300 tag. If you havent ever got any Enterbay Bruce Lee which has a real wood diorama you'll never know the quality they give. We all agree that with all the other stuff thrown in along with a new 'revolutionary' type body this package is worth every bit of the $300.

The current GoD Diorama is (correct me If Im wrong) as quoted by Rorywan almost 13 inches in height so should easily fit a detolf. (Considering that the taller FoF Diorama fit detolfs, this should easily fit) Anyway I hope I have cleared your doubts and answered your queries satisfactorily. From all of us Bruce Lee fans here who dont care whether a Bruce Lee figure is made by Hot Toys or Enterbay or whoever as long as its kick ass, we wish you all the best for getting your first Enterbay Bruce Lee figure :wave

Judging from the quality of EB sets I own, FOF & Kato, I feel very assured that I will not be disappointed with this GOD release. EB has raised the bar so high for BL figures right out of the door that I think we as collectors have been a bit spoiled. I have never expected so much from a toy company, not even from Hot Toys, until I was introduced to EB. Now I expect EB to come out with some lab created genom creature that walks and talks like Bruce Lee only in 1/6 or 1/4 scale.:rotfl
 
Wow guys that was very reassuring! I will keep my eye out for this awesome set.

But that just leaves my question about the body left. Has Enterbay announced the new body for separate purchases or should I just get the 3.5 body?

It was mentioned by Rory in this thread that the new GoD will not fit the 3.5. That's the problem i'm facing as well
