Just noticed the rather large paint rub on the nose of the bd/non-smiling head. :lol

I still think the idea of contracting muscles is interesting and it's implementation on the abdominals is quite cool. The biceps unfortunately don't get much benefit from this seeing as the elbows cannot bend very far. In the end though neither would amount to a pile of squat if the rest of the body looks like a cheap wrestling toy produced by Jakks or something.

I ____ing give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered 1, despite of having disappointed with their ETD and WOTD 1/4 statue. Damn, I shoulda learn from my mistake :(

Damn, I'm not paying $300+ for a rubber body that can crack up after a few months or after moving the joint a few time.
For this price they should have given us the non poseable prototype body (which i liked very much) and (new) jointed plastic! action body. Now that to me would be a sell. I mean look at how the area around the biceps look. I'm going to have to pose it in a relaxed position anyway (when it looks like that). Then just give me one without the shoulder joints. The BD sculpt looks amazing though. Hope the production version looks close to it. I don't always thrust EB in that department. For now, no sale for me. Glad i did not preorder..

BTW: Didn't Hot Toys stop making these rubber bodies for a reason

How can you be disappointed with the ETD and WOTD statues? They are easily the best Bruce Lee pieces ever made.

I'm passing on this one specifically because of their Lee statues.

They've now announced a new 1/4 Enter the Dragon one and I still believe they'll get to 1/4 GoD statue eventually (most likely after the 1/6 GoD figures are sold)

This 1/6 GoD definitely hasn't lived up to the hype. Bending at the elbow still results in 'folded rubber hose arm' which seems to be the case with all rubber bodies.

Not a great body but that headsculpt mops the floor with both of the Hot Toys dx sculpts.

That it certainly true, however i would wait for the 'in hand' pictures to see if the paint application is any good. But still, i would not pay $300+ for 2 good looking sculpts :(

I literally have to open 20+ pieces to choose 1 decent one. Mess included some plastic blotch on the hair piece, hair piece that wasnt glued on properly, making the hair 'float', lips that are too red, making him looks like hes wearing lipstick and 1 even doesnt have a hole on the foot where the metal rod is supposed to enter from the base.

Same thing with the WOTD statue.

My WOTD is starting to do the MJ moonwalk antigravity lean now.:slap

Wow sorry to hear that man....haven't heard anyone complain about the statues.

Where are you going through them like that?

Again gathered from Bill's 'weibo', the smiling sculpt will not have them eyeball system thingy, only the battle damaged one will.

I wish it was the other way round.
It hurts me to think that theyre going to ruin a beautiful sculpt with that eye system thing on the battle damage head.
Have Enterbay lost their minds?:cuckoo:
The body is terrible. Why they decided to go in that direction, I will never know.
Such a missed opportunity.:monkey2

Wow that body looks terrible, and with rubber arms my decision is final.Im getting the BD head and Jumpsuit as those 2 are the only 2 things im interested in after seeing this.

Im really,REALLY dissappointed, from an awesome prototype to a complete disaster.I wanted this,i really did but they really messed up the body, even with the Jumpsuit on,he looks like a boy with too much babyfat.

I hope the heads are the same as the previous ones, with magnets hopefully so i can use one of the latest EB bodies that came with Fist of Fury.

To me this poops not only on the GOD figure, but on the other new lines announced, T-800 and Rambo

that said at least we have more head sculpts and accessories to choose from, there will be a hundred of these GOD bodies on ebay but the BD head sculpt and suit will be chewed up in days

I'm not to bothered, I bought this for BD version & I'm happy with it, so far anyways. I loved the body in the proto but I never bought it expecting it to turn out that way, I've the got the BL DX & I don't really like the body on that topless either because I hate seeing open joints, I just think they look ugly but saying that I think both companies had to go that way because who wants an unarticulated body for a BL figure, I love the BD sculpt on this so far I just hope they don't ____ it up with the eyes
