And some people get on my ass for my EB "bashing." I knew the body was going to be a disappointment and how true it is.

Hmm after much deliberation Im still going through with the figure. Ill make up for the loss by parting out some stuff on the FS section here. However I can still pull out if Enterbay do release final pics of the produced BD head and it turns out to be crap too.

It's hard isn't it... I am aware that I am doing a fair bit of EB bashing on various threads, ie Jay Reno, Jack Sparrow etc... but it's even harder not to say something, so cynical is the way they go about marketing their figures.
First dibs on the a tracksuit (BD or non-BD) and shoes thanks Axe!
What i want to know is,if the heads have the same neck joint as their previous Bruce Lee figures.
A real shame i want the backdrop too.If i buy the Backdrop,Head,jumpsuit and the shoes w/socks plus a EB Action body 3.5 seperate i suspect it could cost me nearly the same price as the complete set

Any chance that EB would just toss the rubber body and go back to their previous bodies? The headsculpt and suit seemed to have met or exceeded most people's expectations.
If they locked down quality control on the figure and went back to the exposed joint bodies, do they have a chance of pulling this figure from the pit of disappointment?

At this stage, not a snowflake's chance of them pulling the rubber body IMO. They've backed themselves into a corner by releasing yet another GoD figure, so if hypothetically they did go back to the BL3.5, people would rightly ask what they're getting above and beyond the last Nokia GoD.an updated HS and some quirky accessories?
Nah, there's no saving this one. It'll be interesting to see whether they'll go anywhere near another 1/6 Bruce for a while, and if they do whether they'll persist with this awful body. A Big Boss Bruce might give them an opportunity to redeem themselves.

Haha, sure But Ill probably part woth the non-BD tracksuit only, or worst comes to worst the cheeky smile HS... sadly no paypal so Im open to trade
anything you might have or may get later (parted out from one of the casual Bruce's maybe) However no promises cause unless I see packaged or inhand pics of this fail I might cancel my preorder. I plan to put the BD head on my extra HT Exclusive non BD body, they should fit as here is the new BL rubber body neck joint:
Since the EB BL bodies are slightly (very slightly) biger than the HT BL Im sure the Ball Joint on the EB Head wil fit on the HT BL neck ball cavity... also this picture kinda makes me think that this body seems suitable for people who are planning to make customs of that weirdo whos always without his shirt in those horrible vampire werewolf in love movies. Its a big hit with the girls here and I think its something New Blood or Eclipse or something... last I saw a girl even had a book. Anyway this muscle body may work well for that werewolf guy custom (If there is anyone who wants to make *hint* I want to get rid of the body once I get it)
I'm sort of perversly happy they screwed this up.
2 Bruce statues + HT casual Bruce + (+ 1/4 HD GoD if they make it).
It would have been absurd for me to buy another Lee but if this lived up to its potential I wouldn't have been able to help myself.

I dont want to sound like an ass, but werent you the one a couple of months ago hoot and hollering about how badass this is to the HT Bruce? Me and others kept saying this is only a prototype and no way would it look the way it does, but you were adamant about EB and getting it no matter what.

Same here, Im very disappointed with the body, but Im still going to get it(unless they mess the BD head up)
I will be selling most parts of this though and will try to use a HTs BL body.

I state in the text you quote that if this had of lived up to the potential then I just wouldn't have been able to stop myself from ordering. Hardly a denial....

I'd said I hadn't had the QC issues others have had and those concerns wouldn't have stopped me getting it. These new pics have nothing to do with bad QC. Its the figure itself that isn't very good.
I'm still not getting the DX EtD but I'm still getting the HT casual Bruce (cause the shirt covers the joints)...nothing changed there.

i'm sticking with it....coz i'm planning to pose it with the shirt on....so i'm not to disapointed...this HS is a killer!! + the diorama...so everythings good for me...

yeah but lets be honest - all wrist joints are horribly ugly. These are just ugly in a way you're not used to. '1/6 joint blindess' will kick in soon enough and you won't see them at all

holy crap that brings it into stark contrast.
The lighting is very different but it seems that torso sort of matches the proto one. But the problem is that the torso doesn't match the arms at all. It almost looks like someone has made their own custom with two different types of figures.

Heads look great, and when the body is covered it a suit its also very nice looking. But that body just looks like crap; not sure what they were thinking on this one.

Youre probably right.
I used to hate seeing the joints, and have avoided it altogether with my figures by making sure the clothes covered them whenever possible.
But as you said, you become blind to them after a while, so I guess its OK.
