I had been checking ebay prices a lot for this one and am surprised to see that these reveal pics have caused a lot of people to buy !?

A few of the cheaper sellers - some who had multiple quantity listed in the auctions - seem to have sold everything.

I was expecting to see sudden price drops but the auction listings are gone....I guess they may have been withdrawn although I doubt it.

Did they sell, or cancel inventory based on product shots? If I was a retailer who'd ordered 10 and put five on ebay and had 5 for preorder through the shop but had those cancel, I'd cancel my order with EB and cancel the auctions. Preorder cancelations are a real bad sign. Doubly so after releasing production shots.

Yeah they may have cancelled themselves, thats why I meant by 'auctions withdrawn' .....

Some of them like 'Goodshipped' have dual auction listings - one for Euro one in US dollars.
His US dollar listing had 4 available for a while up until yesterday and today is gone. The Euro listing is still there but the quantity is done to 2.
He could be cancelling or reducing quantity but I don't think so. I may be wrong.


...also good to see that people are still trying to sell the 1st EB GoD figure for around $1000....good luck to them

There's alot of yellow in that set up, I think it's just the color of something else reflecting on his arm. Theres no stain in any other photo but that one.

Yeah that's what i think too.But i can imagine it happening though,my Bruce Lee figures have black stains all over the body.

Yes, the skin looks a bit reflective and that could be a secondary bouncing light from the yellow clothes...

More pics would tell if that is a stain or not.

Besides all these reactions against the difference between proto and mass production... is this a good figure or not?

Definitely not a stain. You can see that same color in other parts of the display. Not to mention the suit only goes to the elbow.

ATM, I think that depends on what the production head winds up looking like. But I doubt even that will save this figure given how far removed it is from it's key selling points.

Nope, the body still ain't working for me. Glad I cancelled my order here. Damn, I'm close in paying 300+ bucks for this s___! Never will I bet my $ on EB unless I see the ACTUAL fig first!

even after seeing the proto body and sculpt, nothing about this figure screamed $350. With the DX you get a lot more and a hell of a lot more cheaper.I think Enterbay made a huge mistake by pricing this so high.

Begs the question ... just why is their retail price so high? Did they get screwed on their licensiing deal?

Or is Hot Toys just blizting the competion yet again?

Because people will pay that much money for a kick-ass figure. The only problem for EB is that this is not a kick-ass figure.

I really don't feel sorry for EB........I mean they always show a badass prototype, but when it's time to release the finished figure, it always looks way different and IMO.....looks like $h!t. At least with HTs you know the quality you're getting, but with EB, it's always a risk.

Looks like a stain to me, especially on the video, also there is a black stain around the wrist as well
