The more I see photos and the more I think about it, I'm most likely keeping this one. I think for the most part it's a few things that are causing some hesitation for others.
- EB letting shots get out that are bad angles, badly lit etc and they cause an uproar.
- People getting upset about not being able to pose rubber bodies permanently. Maybe I'm not as picky as I should be but in my mind the rubber bodies look great and I know that it's only common sense if you stretch rubber it will break down and most likely tear eventually. I have never, and will never pose my Leonidas with his hands up in the air. I knew what the figure was when I bought it, so he's posed accordingly. To me the rubber body thing is like saying "I bought this new car and drove it for a year without an oil change", sure you can do it, but it's not a great idea long term.
- Price. I struggled with this one but the reality is you're getting a very intense diorama with the figure essentially. Sure Hot Toys are cheaper, but if they each came with a backdrop, non character accessories and other props they might be higher too. I feel like the price is a -tad- too high, but I don't think it's far off from where it should be. You're not just getting a couple weapons, change of hands and head, you get the clap board, camera, huge back wall piece, and a folding chair if I saw one of the photos correctly?
- Visible joints. I see some of the arguments but I'm displaying mine with the suit on.
That's kinda where my head is right now. Not saying anyone else is wrong, this is just my logic for keeping my PO.
