Well what I meant is they can release one that looks just like Natalie Portman that people could use with their Hot Toys Thor figure if they wanted.
Kind of like figures that you could use with other lines if you wanted?
I do see your point, but again I think it's doubtful because I'm thinking if they will go so far as attach the Asian actress' actual name to one project, they can't with the next one, really just go and make Natalie Portman and call her "Sexy Girl Natalia Shwartzman" and expect to not be called out by Natalie's reps.
It's likely that we will see some American actresses but there will be little chance they will fit in with anything we might really need...
For example I can't see Angelina Jolie attaching herself to a sexy girls doll project, or Kate Becknsale or Natalie Portman. About three of the only reputable and sexy hollywood actresses involved in an array of geek type films.
Then you get the others like the aforementioned Signorine Weavers who are just not sexy and modern enough for a line like this. Then someone like Blake lively who would probably scoff at it either way.
You might get Maxim girl flavor of the month type person like Amber Heard or whatever to agree, but there's nothing really credible to create with those types of actresses' likeness in the sci-fi or action realm.
What I think Enterbay should have done which relates to your point and i think would have been a great idea is to release a line of new female bodies, different shapes, sizes colors with random outfits (that are usable, not just sexy schoolgirl) and actually make the likenesses of Angelina Jolie and Portman etc. but just call them FMX-01. or something.
Oh well... at least we will get some new female bodies on the market and hopefully they will be good. IMO the female body in 1/6 is way behind the men's in terms of being up to speed.
