Well I may have to eat my own words. I may compare and decide the Hot Toys figure really is better. I bought both because both companies release good product and I want to be sure I have the best. You are a proponent of that syllabus are you not? I would think you would understand that EVILFACE.

What I am is, perhaps, stupid for not waiting, but down under, waiting is like hesitating. Hesitate and you are lost. Luckily I was able to budget for both. Until Enterbay release theirs the discussion is and has been, shall we say, interesting. If I can help a collector make an informed decision, I will at least try to make my opinions known. Some may consider it, others may not. That is out of my hands.

Well going by your past posts on these Godfather figures, you should have never bothered getting the HT one, as you had already declaired EB the winner. I would have just ordered the EB one and said to hell with everyone

I just can't trust Hot Toys nut swingers. I have to have the item in hand to really know. Stores down under don't have Hot Toys or Enterbay figures on shelves readily available at a realistic price.

Still, I don't know where you got the idea that I declared Enterbay the winner in the past. I will admit to defending them against people who seem to have no idea or don't own an Enterbay figure to really say. I'm not saying Enterbay are the best on every count. Just that they tick more of the boxes I like to be ticked overall.

Like I said, we get it. You prefer the Hot Toys figure. What I'm saying is, now that you've discussed your opinion of the Enterbay figure, go back to your Hot Toys lickers thread, and continue on your merry way. You have no interest in the Enterbay figure. You wont be purchasing the Enterbay figure, you probably don't own an Enterbay figure and we take your opinion for what it's worth when talking of an Enterbay figure. Lacking.

Well I just received my Hot Toys Don, and I am in total agreement with Raymond Ferraro. Those that have pre-ordered the Enterbay figure, and know what an Enterbay figure is like, ought not to worry. I think we will be fully rewarded. The reports you've read about the Hot Toys figure are overblown. I have every confidence that Enterbay will outshine the Hot Toys figure in more aspects than just the paint. The Hot Toys Don is reminiscent of my Hot Toys Jack Sparrow in that the skin tone is too dark. Rather than post more of my opinions, I have just put my newly acquired Don back in the box and await the Enterbay figure so I can compare it one on one.

Some believe that Enterbay have waited until Hot Toys released theirs so they can copy and steal, or rather scramble and hopefully better the Hot Toys figure. I believe the delay is due to having to develop a new base figure, rather than dress the Don in a body suit to achieve a desired result. That would have to take time, most collectors would agree I'm sure.

Some say Enterbay missed the boat because Hot Toys released theirs first. That could be construed as them having rushed theirs out to avoid the backlash, because I believe Enterbay will rise to the occasion. I consider it lucky that Hot Toys were able to get theirs out first. I think the only ones to miss the boat will be the collectors who jumped the gun to purchase the Hot Toys figure. I'm in that boat. I blew my wad and bought the Hot Toys figure. I'm willing to blow my wad now and predict Enterbays will be the better figure to own. Yes, I am being smug and loud because I own numerous figures from both companies and that alone has turned me into an Enterbay fanboy.

Bring it on Enterbay. Do me. I may have to eat my words but I know what Enterbay is capable of, so I'm bellowing it out now in anticipation. Come on.

I don't own a figure of theirs yet, but then again, i've only been into 1/6th for barely a year, and didn't even know they existed till a few months ago. Really, i think they're a fantastic company, their Bean and JB 24 are freakin incredible, i can't wait to own one of their figures, sadly (as you may have already guessed) this won't be one of them. Yes yes, i know what you're thinking, 'here he goes again', but i'll leave it there, just wanted to set the story straight. Only reason i keep repeating myself, is i hate to be called/to have people think/acuse me of being etc, a HT fanboy, or for me to say i hate this just because i own the HT one. A company is a company to me, i buy whoever makes the best figure to my eyes, i've nothing at all against EB As silly as it sounds, but i assumed when i started collecting, that HT was the sole maker of everything that was 1/6th. 'An opinion can't be wrong'. That statement is true, but what it doesn't state is it doesn't make it necessarily right. By lacking, I meant in experience and knowledge. You see I can't always do your thinking for you. Sometimes you have to think for yourself and read between the lines.

2) There are only a handful of pictures of the Enterbay figure just recently released. Probably shown after you received yours, or at least after you purchased yours.

How can you make an informed opinion? As an Aussie I know that here, pre-ordering is our only real option. Owning both is not an option at all for most, so I can see why most people are buying the Hot Toys version. They are the most popular 1/6th company. It's when people start saying negative things, that to me aren't all that obvious, that I feel the need to say something. e.g. saying there's something off, but not even knowing what it is, says the same thing as "it sucks". A useless post, adding nothing, etc etc I don't have the time to elaborate right now.

C'mon man, i'm a lazy Aussie, i cbf editing down the quote I could same the same to you though, about a lacking opinion, because all your pro's, bar con's are coming from the same and only source as mine - a few pics. It easily goes both ways. I just don't agree on the lacking thing, i couldn't care if HT, or EB or whoever made the figure, i'm just looking at it, as a whole. To say that my opinion is lacking, is like saying, i can't say a Brad Pitt movie is bad, unless i have seen, and have all his other movies at home. It's preferential, doesn't always have to be knowledgable. You can't say your opinion isn't lacking like mine, or is just, because you own EB figures (do you?) That's called Chauvinism. My main one being, how about you stay in the Hot Toys thread where your conversation may have some merit. This is gonna be a very close run race. Untill you have both sitting in front of you, look at them under differeing lights, examine the outfits and pose them... who knows?
Put simply, whichever you get, you have a fantastic figure of the Don, a figure you couldn't have imagined owning just a couple of years ago, it's a win win situation. It's like whether you prefer Ferrari's or Lamborghini', just enjoy your choice!

The eyes also, on this figure looks much better than the HT ones...he has the same contempling look that he had in the movie in most scene..While the HT one just ''stare'' IMO...
