Well I have one, but I don't post on Freaks that much, so nobody knows me. I decided to share my experience with this figure, since I got one that was defective. My figure has a messed up right shoulder and the soft plastic in the armpit is split apart in the seam.

I decided to ship the loose body off to Enterbay for repair through USPS and it was about $50.00 (including the shipping supplies). I will try and get my shipping costs back from Enterbay, but they do not offer to pay for return shipping. For people stuck with a defect you could be invested in the figure for $450 if you pre-ordered and that is something to consider if your gonna buy it.

That's alot of time, money and effort put into getting this figure right, am sorry but if it was me I would just return it and get my money back. This is going to end up costing you $50 in shipping:dunno When you didn't do anything wrong but give these Aholes a.k.a. Enterbay your hard earned money. Enterbay doesn't pay for return shipping would cause me to not only stay clear of this figure but anything they make in the future. The fact that only about 10 collectors here have it, and I think three of the ten are having issues is enough for me to pass. The blade video should seal it for anyone, why would you wont to have such high anxiety when you get a collectible which costs so much? On delivery day you shouldn't have to worry and prey that you got a good one. That's not what the hobby should be about.

True.. but as a Rambo fan, it's hard to resist. :slap I just hope mine turns out great like most of these guys.

Sad. This thread has become a support group for people that wanted to buy but were hesitant, people that couldn't afford it but really liked it and can feel better for not buying, and people that just like to dump gasoline on a bonfire.

3 members having unfortuate problems, but seems like other people are more pissed about the situation then they are.

While Maulfan and I seem to really like this figure, I suppose no amount of positive comments can amount to 3 negative ones.

Please continue to spread the anger and hate. You know who you are.

Forgot to add... IMHO somewhere above.

I'm crossing my fingers for a replacement, seeing as this is the single best Rambo figure out there and it really does look incredible.

A few more reports have hit Facebook and it seems customer service is taking longer to get back to them. I was considering posting this on Bill's page together with my video link. Too harsh or is it okay?

Having a problem with my Rambo figure: the right shoulder joint is loose (I'm referring to the pivoting hard plastic to which the arm is attached). I sent customer service an email describing the issue and they responded by saying it's not a defect and that they'll upload a video later detailing how the joint works. I assumed CS misunderstood just what was going on, so I recorded a video of my own and replied back with it. Figured you guys would benefit from seeing it as well. A split torso seam isn't the only thing you have to watch for and I would very much like a replacement body. This IS a defect and it's not okay. I would've been able to shrug this off if it were a typical 1/6 figure, but for the money Enterbay is asking, this thing really needs to be perfect out of the box. If future batches are improved, those who've had to deal with ridiculously loose joints like me (or split seams like others) should be entitled to replacements. Shortchanging the customer is unacceptable and even more so when they're the ones paying $400 to a company with a "passion for perfection".

I'll be filing a PayPal claim soon if this issue is not addressed.

I could leave the PayPal part out, but I have a feeling it'll eventually come to that if CS still sees this as "normal". Maybe if this gets attention, they'll fix their problems. For $400, I can afford to whine. I do still want this figure; it was my most anticipated piece of the summer. I just don't want a copy with weak joints, which really isn't too much to ask.

Just to get a better sense of how widespread this is, who at this site actually has the figure in their posession.

MaulFan
Blade3327
nightsurf
Stanlore
desisandy
Ren_dog

Those are the members I know who have this, and as far as I know, Blade and Nightsurf are the only ones with broken shoulders. Would I be hesitant to order this before a greater number of folks have it in hand to see how widespread the problem is, sure, but I think it's a bit premature to write off the figure like the whole thing's a bust.

I think the figure is freaking awesome and cant wait to get mine fixed. Just sharing info and not looking for pitty, or to discourage anyone from buying it. I do think that its important to share experiences on these forums, so people know that s--- happens & thats life. I am invested 110% and not looking back. For those that have one on the way, or in hand, congrats. I would go through a local retailer though and not Enterbay.

^^No, that's not harsh at all, Blade3327.. You have every right to post that, bro, if you feel that Enterbay Customer Service is not meeting your expectations.

I remember a few pages back that I suggested this as well (to add Bill as a friend in Facebook), so that you can both message him, and post in the Enterbay wall.

Customers shouldn't even go through with this experience. :(

Thanks for sharing, bro DEATHASYLUM. I think it's safe to say that, for those who haven't ordered yet, ordering from a local retailer is the best bet.. This is because a local retailer still has an obligation to provide you with a defect-free product, otherwise your money back or store credit, depending on how the store runs their business.

The sacrifice I had to make for ordering locally is that I won't get those extra arrows. :( It'll be great to have those as well.

Did you take photos of the armpit where the soft plastic is split apart? Hoping you could share them here as well, to give other owners an idea?

I posted pics a few pages back :)

Yeah i know.. like i said, the people that did have problems seem less angry then the people trying to use your situations to cause an uproar. You guys are posting about the figure, and i think its actually very helpful. It lets people know what to look out for when they get their figure. Even i asked about how to close the gap on the shoulder.

My tanktop has been on the whole time, and it wasent until i saw people addressing broken seams on the side of the body, did I even bother to check mine. So thanks to the people that did so.

TO add to this BLADE i suppose you have every right to do so if no one is getting back to you from cs. But if they will fix your problem, i think sending it to the official Enterbay page for other collectors might be more appropriate. I mean, you wouldn't post messages on Bill Gates facebook page if you had problems with Microsoft Windows or your Xbox would you? just sayin bro.. ~ but thats just my logic.

There's nothing wrong with people expressing their frustrations, believe me, I would be too, I recognize that I am fortunate here, but i don't look down on those who aren't as lucky. It hasn't stopped me from doing my thing while they do theirs.

I will however argue that there's too little info to really judge how this figure is coming out. Most cases, you get somewhere from 10-30 people getting a piece and posting on it here, we don't even have 10 sharing with us here, so a few duds and it looks like the whole run is a bust, but, unfortunately for those with duds, those could be few and in the end, the good ones may be majority. Having participated in the EB T-800 thread and owning that figure myself, I know EB can turn out a great product. Defects happen with any mass produced item. That said, EB should offer proper support of its customers should problems arise. Particularly where they try to win over favor from Hot Toys, providing great support for defective figures would go a long way.

Enterbay Bill's page is practically an official page. That's where he first uploads the product photos, teases everything, and where other collectors (most of them, anyway) inquire about the pieces. More people are friends with Bill. Doesn't seem like the actual EB page gets as much traffic, anyway.

..and giving them the pun "Passion for Perfection" should light some fire under their behinds, to ramp up the effort, as it will be posted in the Facebook wall. :)

Have you guys heard about the collector who sent his damaged Iron Man Mark 4 to Hot Toys, on how he received the item from Hot Toys?

480612_2954308916440_2049929838_n.jpg

..in an envelope, with thin bubblewrap. So it got damaged again. :slap

I hope Enterbay does a better job with their return shipping even though they let the buyers shoulder the shipping cost.

I will just keep my fingers crossed and hope they ship the thing protected in a box. For the guy that got his Ironman shipped back in an envelope......thats just wrong! Poor customer service.:nono

What's the black thing on the arm? A joint connector?
not really a joint, actually all of you can see it being glued below the skeleton/hard plastic. I don't know what it is for actually:lol
actually, I already messaged Bill and attached pics about my shoulder problem using FB around 4 days ago. It's not helping sadly.
@ Blade: you're in very difficult position. but paypal have a policy to open a dispute with the seller in 45 days after the payment (I think)
I think your first email is the proof that you already contacted EB.

I wonder if its a spacer in the shoulder joint to prevent paint rubbing off on the shoulder due to posing.:dunno

I think yhat's what it is, which is smart so kudos on the idea, but you have to make sure it's glued in place.

I'm wondering if some Rambos were rushed. The email we all got said some we orders would ship late June and the rest later in July but then that changed to all we orders by the first week of July. It would explain why the 50/50 chance of a dud, but why rush, it's far better for them to take their time and get everyone a good one than to crank them out and deal with upset customers, repairs and returns.

:exactly:It makes sense to take your time to put out the best product possible to your customers, but that costs money that companies don't want to spend. The focus is on the bottom line, meeting deadlines, filling orders, cash flow, etc., and not so much on excellent customer service and quality control.

I guess we will all wait and see if there is a small group, or a large group with faulty product. Also, It will be interesting to see what my repaired/exchanged figure looks like when I get it back and if they fix it.

Lets just hope they take pride in fixing mistakes and try to win the customer back. I have my fingers crossed for you Enterbay to do the right thing, after I spent over $450 now for this dam action figure of mini Sly!:slap
