i think you still shouldn't even pay even a dollar for shipping cost:lecture
Their CS, certainly know how to drive a hard bargain with EB's customers.
Don't pay it and It'll be a good lesson for EB to not underestimate their customers.
This doll always have new way to surprise me. Today I played with his lef arm.....and look what I found

Yep, you can see, thet black thing below the hard plastic and I think they not glue it enough. I never really posed him, because my display case still not ready :slap
I hope anyone who ordered this on later batch will get improvement. This is a major dissapointment for me or us who pre-prdered this in hope to get this supposedly great figure ASAP:slap

I didn't threaten to open up a claim in my response to them, but I haven't received a new reply from them either. Should I just go ahead and do it or wait another day for them to get back to me? I'm leaving for San Diego tomorrow so I'll still be in touch on my laptop, but I wouldn't be able to send anything back if needed until next week.

...this is just making me want to open the damn claim.
It's a gorgeous figure only on the surface, sadly. EB's made a lot of improvements over the last year or two, but they've still got a lot to learn about the technical aspects of production. I'd be able to shrug this off if it were a $200- 1/6 figure, not a $400 1/4. Maybe someone else will do a giant Rambo down the line (possibly from First Blood or First Blood: Part II).

LEARN FROM THESE ISSUES! WILL I BUY THE BAT AND JOKER?:yess::clap

I JUST FEEL THE PAIN OF MY FELLOW COLLECTORS!!!

Exactly!

Another thing that hasn't been discussed, what about the collectors who think they have a Doll Rambo that's not defective right now, do you really think these Enterbay Rambo's aren't going to have any problems in a year or two? The fact that Enterbay returns are only good for 7 days should really put the brakes on a lot of collectors buying these. The figure is not worth $400 and I see that some sellers on Ebay are asking $500 already. I'm so glad I waited, I would really be pissed if I paid $400 for a figure that's worth about $150 - $200 tops. That blade video of the quality of the arm joints is pathetic, for that kind of money they should fit like a gear shift fits into a high end precision Italian sports car.

Don't you risk that with any sort of collectible?:dunno

Bottom line the video that blade posted ends any thoughts of purchasing this Rambo and I have every Rambo collectible made over the last 10 years. I really love the sculpt, but the all around quality isn't screaming out to me $400! $400! $400! I work hard for my money, so am going to be very selective on what and how much I spend.

Technically yes, but the more expensive it is, the less tempted you might be to roll the dice on a possible defect. I'd be more comfortable taking such a risk with a 1/6 piece with a price tag lower than $200 -- and from a company with a better shopping policy.

Just to get a better sense of how widespread this is, who at this site actually has the figure in their posession.

Those are the members I know who have this, and as far as I know, Blade and Nightsurf are the only ones with broken shoulders. Would I be hesitant to order this before a greater number of folks have it in hand to see how widespread the problem is, sure, but I think it's a bit premature to write off the figure like the whole thing's a bust.

yup i agree with Maulfan, think faststreet and cap got their figure, soon Snoop will recieve his, but not a lot to go by .only handful of folks. with us being first batch , EB would be carefully examining their second batch of Rambo,s nd MIB i would think.

Well I have one, but I don't post on Freaks that much, so nobody knows me. I decided to share my experience with this figure, since I got one that was defective. My figure has a messed up right shoulder and the soft plastic in the armpit is split apart in the seam.

I decided to ship the loose body off to Enterbay for repair through USPS and it was about $50.00 (including the shipping supplies). I will try and get my shipping costs back from Enterbay, but they do not offer to pay for return shipping. For people stuck with a defect you could be invested in the figure for $450 if you pre-ordered and that is something to consider if your gonna buy it.

Thanks for sharing, bro DEATHASYLUM. I think it's safe to say that, for those who haven't ordered yet, ordering from a local retailer is the best bet.. This is because a local retailer still has an obligation to provide you with a defect-free product, otherwise your money back or store credit, depending on how the store runs their business.

The sacrifice I had to make for ordering locally is that I won't get those extra arrows. :( It'll be great to have those as well.

Did you take photos of the armpit where the soft plastic is split apart? Hoping you could share them here as well, to give other owners an idea?
