I think, when we saw the BTS BD GOD, we had our doubts. The smiling sculpt from that set almost put them to rest. Leon, to my mind, didn't put mine to rest.
The Respect Scarface killed the doubts, and this Will Smith sculpt fricking BURYS them!

Okay, so I wanted to get a better look at the middle Will sculpt, because I couldn't really shake the feeling that the middle sculpt still looked different to me. Even after peeps saying it's only the lighting.
So I tweaked the brightness on the pic a bit, & unexpectedly noticed something I wasn't even looking for. I think the Will sculpt on the right is the proto. The expression is different, the colour is different, & the giveaway I unexpectedly noticed? .........

Yes, I took into account the lighting, angle, perspective & the placement of the head sculpt. Definitely looks bigger. Almost had me Enterbay. Almost.

Yeah I think there's enough variation in the paint around the eye area to backup the theory that the far right is the proto.
Not sure if it's bigger or not.

Hey, if the figures we received looked like the middle sculpt i'd still be happy.
There are obvious differences between the sculpt closest to us and the middle sculpt, whether it's the photo or not I couldn't tell you.

If I was to base my purchase on that pic alone, I'd still want it. I might have to snatch one up "as soon as". I can't project if these will sell out fast or not, don't want to risk not getting one at retail price.
I think the head sculpt will sell well parted out. It simply looks "Ba___astic"

HT Loki? The Best sculpt?
Tell me it's just a pathetic joke. It's one of the best likeness heads HT did, just because it's easy to catch the features of Tom Hiddleston. And from the anatomy aspect, it's still average quality of all HT's heads,which is poor.

HT Loki is great but the hairline looks like a wig.
This Will Smith doesn't have anything that looks off to me so far.

As to EB's MIB, if they did use PS to modify their pics, which is really bad.
what I notice is the mouth of the third head is quite different from the others. Especially the upper lip, there's no reason it looks very blurry but the middle one's looks so clear. Also the paint job seems so different.
But again, even the head in the middle is the final product, I will still go for them, I mean J and K.
The sculpt of EB's recent head is a lot better than HT's, the curve of forehead and the volume of the eyes, Ht's head always look flat.

Not sure if anyone has said or caught this but on Bill's FB along with the pic of the Will Smith head, he said that the full announcement will be "5.25" which I assume means May 25th i.e. this coming Friday!

Well spotted - I'm still not 100% convinced it's different from the others apart from the paint, though the bottom edge of the neck appears more round, as opposed to squared off like a production sculpt would be, so it does point to a proto sculpt. Either way I'd be happy with either of 'em

The initial sculpt of K looked really, really great. Maybe it's the glasses, but I'm a little thrown off by how he looks in the "poster" style picture EB posted on facebook. I can't wait to put the money down though, TLJ is a must have in my collection.

If the middle J head is indeed the production one, let's wait till we see better pics of it before we go passing judgement on it.

HT heads are poor? Look, I'm no polesquatting HT fanboy - I'm willing to criticise HT sculpts - but damn! Really? Are you really saying that HT sculpts are generally poor? Just because theres about 2 or 3 freelance customisers who are capable of achieving great likenesses, oftentimes better than a HT equivalent, does not mean that HT heads are of average/poor quality. HT are the pioneers of the kinds of realism in headsculpts that we take for granted now. No, not every likeness is nailed, but these guys have deadlines to meet and despite that the quality of the sculpts is never less than superb.

Looking at different photos of Loki it seems as his hairline isn't the same throughout the movie so personally I think they chose the best version.
That looks pretty damn close to me.
