Haven't been following. Why did Smith ask for no weapons?

Your guess is as good as ours. I think the idea behind it was that he did not want children to be playing with armed toys and such, but it is a bit of a strange request because of two things

1) This is not child's toy. It is incredibly expensive and chances are only hardcore figure collectors and long time Men in Black fans, of whom would probably be adults now, will be interested.

2) His character commonly used various weapons in each film so it seems a bit strange to restrict the weapons here, but not in the actual source material.

Whatever his reasons are Enterbay did a good job dealing with it by giving him a lot of the tools of the trade and also giving him Frank. I think it works out well in the end since K gets a ton of weapons because of it.

Is Hot Toys making these as well?

if they were, I think we would have seen at least a teaser of it....Hot toys loves to piss on Enterbay....hence the rushed T2 DX....the rushed teaser of Angelica from POTC OST....they always seem to show something just as soon as Enterbay does...

Back a long time ago I was talking to one of the guys from I think Geometric Designs. They were making licensed T2 garage model kits. They were told by Schwarzenegger that they couldn't make the face too shredded because he didn't want to scare kids. Apparently kids would spend $100 in the eighties to buy these underground models but not spend $5 to watch the movie that shows his face get torn up. Some actor are pretty clueless at times.

Since I have to use Paypal to order these from Enterbay, will they charge my credit card right away?

has anyone from australia order directly from the EB site? if so are they packed well and what is the rough prices?

EB shipping is a flat rate for all destinations. Sometimes shipping is included in the price of the figure. The last figure I paid shipping on was Ip Man, which was around $40 to ship. EB tend to pack the figure box in a slightly larger shipper, with some, but not a lot, of packing protection thrown in.
