But Jean Reno actually does have a lazy eye (or askew at any rate). I haven't seen one in hand yet, but based just on the pics we've all seen, the dude on the left looks like he has killed people in horrible ways, and the dude on the right looks like he might wonder down the lake and feed some ducks, or maybe call his gran, you know, see how she is today.

Jesus christ how many times are people going to bang on about he looks passive thats why they did the RESPECT and WAR versions

Ok, I got the Enterbay Scarface respect version. I also have the Blitzway version but I can keep only one. After a short debate with my nephew, came to the conclusion that Enterbay wins. Looks more realistic, outfit looks better (except for the shoes and belt) and with glasses on Enterbay's HS looks terrific. (Enterbay glasses looks cheap, may get HT Bruce Lee's glasses) I specially like Enterbay's skin tone. He really looks like a suntan skin and not too brown as the Blitzway. Also the lips on Blitzways are too purple.
A few shots of both figures:

after this pics bw wins hands down, the suit in the EB one has the stripes too visible, the shirt is too puffy and I really don't like that expession (wonderful paint) of the calm sculpt, but I will buy the war version...:monkey3

Well I do think they could have done a RESPECT version with a more determined or serious look. It looks like hes just chilling and sitting back watching tv.I have the BW version and I do like Enterbay's sculpt alot but will pass because of the expression....and also because of the permanent holes in his head.

Thank you very much Urutoraseven for the comparison photos ! I really wanted to see them together

It is a matter of choice. BW expression looks bad ass but the paint is not that good. I always go for the most realistic representation and precise head sculpt either calm, mad or serious. EB war was a good try but something is off on the face (I think the eyes are too close to the nose). BW serious is really good but don't like the paint (skin too brown, lips are purple, not many details) EB respect is too relax but it is an almost perfect head sculpt and the paint is brilliant. Also, the suit on the EB is whiter and tighter (I like it more than BW).
I also got the EB cheaper than BW because of the small package.
The good thing is that I will keep the BW chair and sell only the figure.

Pics of the War version doesnt do the HS justice, it really needs to be seen in hand. As far as the Respect I don't mind the calm expression, it's a dead on Pacino, as Scarface and is a polar opposite of War. I'm sure the paint apps will be just as nice as the War, which is really nice, a must see in person.

Also I own 2 BW's (love them) and will not selling them, 2 different interpretations of the same character appeal to me.

I have to agree with LeJuan. before he made his post, I was thinking that the Respect version shows him with too much inner peace. It looks like Pacino, but not like Scarface, because I don't recall him ever being that peaceful in the whole film, whether he was asking for respect or not. He maintained a certain level of intensity, even in his more relaxed moments. Show me a single still where Scarface looks that peaceful in the film. He practically looks lobotomized.

Thank you for proving my point. So much more intensity in Scarface VS the almost cheerful eyes and the slight gentle smile of the figure. That is how Scarface looked when peaceful, and yet there is still such attitude and intensity. The respect figure looks like he is happily drunk. His bangs are also too long, which covers too much of his forehead, which changes the look.

Here are Tony's peaceful moments off the top of my head:

When sitting with the kid pointing out when Manolo gets slapped.

Putting on Elvira's hat to make her laugh.

Buying his 1st Porsche

Sitting with frank at the Babylon club.

Dancing with E. at the BC.

The entire montage showing his rise to riches.

There are plenty of moments that show a calmer TM, but it's the badass that sticks out and we remember more so.

The eyebrows are not as raised in the screen cap, and the lips are not as upturned at the corners. Apparently small details but these render a completely different intensity to the portrait imo. I saw one of these in hand today and the paint is excellent. Folks who don't mind the lack of intensity in the expression will still be very happy with the Pacino likeness. The 'quality' of the sculpt is better than BW's in terms of paint and Pacino likeness, but I'm happy to stick with BW's because I prefer the expression. Collectors have a good choice with these three versions.

Very well said :goodpost: it's a good time to be a fan of SF with the amount of options out there.

Which suit did you prefer LJ? I think I prefer the BW red shirt but pics can be deceiving.

I've had my figure in a TTL dark suit since I got it, but I think BW's shirt has the more accurate colour. The EB one I saw was unfutzed, looked good but also like it needed work around the collar to have it sit well.

:lol:slap That did not help prove your point at all. There is so much ferocity and intensity in the screen shot whereas the figure looks so passive and happy.

I think it looks very similar to that pic

isnt this all about opinions ? i think its very very close to that pic, and yeah theres plenty of moments when hes calm this is why they done two versions of the figure war and respect, you lot go on about The BW figure which i have has the look of Tony Montana, the Intensity of the character, but the EB one looks more like Pacino, Hello thats what i want Pacino was Montana, if thats the case would you want a John McClane Die Hard figure that didnt look like Bruce Willis ? but still had the cockyness and ordinary man look of John McClane ? no i certainly wouldnt.

I Have the BW figure, no doubt its a great figure and and a great first attempt at a figure by a company, but from angles it just looks like a caricature for me
