Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I'm getting this and any Batman they do. I'd love to have these guys in 1/4 scale.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

What batman suit would people rather see made? It's a tough one but I'd prefer the Dark Knight suit, I think. Either version will look Incredible at this scale though. I don't get the hate on the scale !

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

As much as I love 1/6, I think Enterbay is offering some cool variety with 1/4 figures and it takes away from them blending into any 1/6 scale collection...although it will be hard to find a home for them (maybe remove shelfs in a detolf), I think this line and the new T-800 will kick some serious ass :rock

The Dark Knight suit for sure :hi5:

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

If Enterbay can get a good likeness down for their Christian Bale head-sculpts, and if they can produce a rubber body without any leaking/decomposition issues, then they'll get my money for sure! I hope that they'll be able to reveal something soon.

Well, I'm actually starting to wonder if 1/4 will eventually become the new 1/6 in terms of popularity and price. Enterbay might be onto something really special here, if they take care of how they handle their business.

Yep, I agree with you 100%...Enterbay is about to take all my money, since Hot Toys quality control and customer service has hit rock bottom for most collectors.

Yes, I was bashing them in the Pirates of the Caribbean thread a few months ago because their Jack Sparrow with Medicom was subpar (also with a ridiculous price tag), but after seeing how well their T-800 was done, I take everything back.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

:lol:lol:lol

The hot toys 2.0 will no doubt be over priced, if they are both released around the same time i won't be surprised if people go for this instead.

I would. While EB's prototypes in most cases look outstanding, their production pieces leave much to be desired and seldom even hold a candle to their own prototype. That's a big hurdle to jump, and EB trips over it more often than not.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

If it's gonna be 1/4 scale, though, I'm not sure how many folks are gonna forgo the 1/6th HT version for this, irrespective of quality-level. It's such a fundamentally different kind of collectible at that size. General high-end collectors may choose this one over that one, but most, if forced to pick one, are probably gonna go with what best fits with the rest of their collection.

Good point. I can certainly see 1/4 PF collectors getting into this easily, but it might be a hard transition for most 1/6 collectors. But, if Enterbay places a competitive price on their stuff to Hot Toys (around $200), then it's game on.

Enterbay did produce some pretty good stuff in the past. Although it was released a few years ago, my EB Jack Bauer figure still has one of the most detailed, and accurate head-sculpts in my entire 1/6 collection.

Yeah, I'm also pretty excited from what I see in their prototype photos. I'm definitely in need of a good Arnold T-800 figure, especially since I missed out on the Hot Toys release from last year :(.

Doubt it. This is TDK and will have mindless drones flock to it like leeches to a bared taint in murky water. But if they don't come out looking great, I assume love-blind fanboys will just tap BobbyC for a $3k headsclupt that looks nothing like Ledger to replace it. :huh

That's like me and my Metal Gear Solid addiction! :rotfl

Well, of course there are some hardcore Ledger Joker collectors that the regular rules don't apply to.

And that's the way Ledger Joker would want it. *insert Ledger Joker quote here*

LOL.. I'd like to see pictures of that!...:)
Uh. . .

:lurking

Agreed, EB Jack Bauer and HT Aldo Raine are probably the best paint apps on any 1/6 figure ever :lecture

No prob on my end replacing the few 1/6 I have with 1/4 :)

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Looks more like ledger than anything HT has mustered thus far, and I'll leave it at that
