Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

after all these freakin tease from every company and toy maker and so on, these tease dont do it for me anymore, no surprise or anxious moments anymore since its now feeling like more of a drag... long one at that, At this point i think it would be 10000times cooler if a studi /comp came out and said... hey we are going to release (insert product) and oh yeah here it is, shows us pics , then go's on to say, oh and its coming out tomorrow.. bam shock value for fans since no wait and out of nowhere they get what they want right now...

oh and the chest pic looks ok but a full reveal would be better

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

"New materials," hmm? That's basically a middle finger to Hot Toys and their leaky rubber. Well done, Bill. Well done. I actually got chills with that post. :rock

Hey, I'm rooting for both companies here, but it's HT needs to realize they can't keep putting out rubber-suited figures. Time and time again reports of problems would come in and they still kept making them this way -- it's the reason I passed on Keaton Bats and I gladly would've jumped into that line if there wasn't any risk of the thing breaking down within a year or two. Howard, it's time a rival company kicked you in the pants on a major issue like this. Get your stuff together.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

They said that the full reveal will be in July, so, knowing that seeing the full pics is close to a month away, I'm of the opinion that a teaser is better than nothing (Though, for the most part, I hate 'em, too). I'm also being a little more lenient due to the fact that, thus far, the actual figure is close to a month away (I.e. Rambo went up for order on June 10th, and it's shipping now).

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Hot toys. Listen up. THIS is how you ship a figure.

No, it's not. It's okay every once in a while, but in the long run, I'd either wind up missing out on a lot of figures or in a state of financial ruin.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I agree. Not with the chills though. No chills here.

Maybe that was a bit much, but both companies could seriously use some competition. Because of this announcement, HT could very well ditch their rubber suits once and for all.

Now,this second shipment crap sucks. As far as the regular shipping, time they could maybe cut it back from 6 months to 4 months. I could probably swing that.

Who knows maybe that's where they are headed with the 2.0. Didn't Howard say it was ready? Could mean specs go up, next day PO and a week later they ship. They seem to be following EB's lead so who knows....

Yeah, but remember their 1/4 Endoskeleton announcement? They posted that thing up the same day EB announced a load of collectible goodness, saying it was ready for mass-production -- that was over two months ago and we only just got shots of them sculpting the head a month back. They also "unveiled" their 1/4 Police Shootout T-800 the same day and said we'd see the reveal in the coming weeks. Heh, sure.
A lot of their claims could be panic-induced covers.
