Now,this second shipment crap sucks. As far as the regular shipping, time they could maybe cut it back from 6 months to 4 months. I could probably swing that.

Who knows maybe that's where they are headed with the 2.0. Didn't Howard say it was ready? Could mean specs go up, next day PO and a week later they ship. They seem to be following EB's lead so who knows....

I think that they should have a schedule:

Announce the figure's tentative release date and price 4-6 months in advance with a brief teaser update every month. Follow up with the full Specs-Pics and Orders once the tentative release date approaches; Ship orders in 1-2 weeks.

As for materials, there is no reason for HT to use rubber on the TDK/TDKR Batman. 1/4 is a large enough scale that I'm sure they can find a suitable mesh material (it doesn't have to be individually linked like the actual suit) and use PVC and other non-rubber materials for the armor plating.

If it made of foam latex like a real Batsuit :yess:

Can' wait to see Bale headsculpted.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

What other material could they use instead of plastic?

It's the kind of plastic that's the problem. I'm curious if it's still a suit or if we'll see visible joints.
Foam rubber/latex sounds unlikely since that stuff will undoubtedly wear out over time.

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

I hope it's an actual suit. At least, it better be. I HATE VISIBLE JOINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...and one more for good measure... !

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Nor I, sir. I can't stand exposed joints, totally ruins the realism. Speaking o' which: you ever find a sculptor for our proposed "interrogation forearms," we may need to get back on that with all of this new interrogation room merchandise on the way. :lecture :lol

I totally forgot about that - yeah, need to think about that again to upgrade my interrogation display yet again :lol

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Interrogation forearms? o.0

I'm intrigued.

Sculpted hands with "forearms;" you plug them into the joint hole, and the forearms cover the arm up to the elbow for a nice, seamless display. The custom part could also mean better detail like vains and grimy fingernails. :lecture

I was going to come up with a retort, but any excuse to post The Rolling Stones is fine by me. :lecture

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight

Plus, they're hands for Pete's sake. I could see if someone said they wanted to start a thread for Kato 3.0 clothing, but hands? Chillax, buddy. :duff

Re: ENTERBAY - 1/4 The Dark Knight
