Yes, it is a separate transaction. Upon shipping your order Sideshow will invoice you. Said invoice will only list product cost and shipping. This is payable to Sideshow. When the package arrives at the country of delivery, you the recipient will than receive an invoice from FedEx. This invoice will include importation fees, taxes and an administration charge.

As it is a calculated percentage of the total invoiced, there's no set figure. Though I suspect in most instances it will be more than the estimated $10.

i think some of you guys are being overly harsh on sideshow

they shown us the new shipping rate

personally I'm gonna wait and see what the total for my first order shipped via this method before i cancel any more or jump to conclusions

Has anyone from a non EU country noticed a drop in shipping? I was just charged for Ken. From my calculations I only paid around $45 shipping. Most PF's cost me approx $90-$120. I think Vega was around $80. I can't confirm this until I see the invoice.

Yeah, I saw in the new FAQs, that they reckon non-EU international shipping may be cheaper. If it does end up being $45, that's bloody fantastic! I'm usually charged around $100 for PFs. If they can get a 12" figure's shipping down from $50 to about $30, I'll be buying from SS a lot more often!

$45 for the average PF, that would be bloody fantastic.
While our exchange rate holds up, one would get most PF's for under $400AUD.

I wonder what impact that would have on local shops for the Reg.

I personally think this is a really bad idea, a big step backwards. I loved the arrangement Sideshow had with shipping stuff through the EU warehouse; I thought it was a great idea, and I personally didn't mind waiting slightly longer for the items to arrive. I don't want to use Fedex, so if there isn't an alternative such as UPS or even the USPS, then I'll have to reconsider ordering directly from Sideshow as long as this arrangement lasts. I find it all really disappointing.

I love how they sugar coated this with a $25.00 Gift card that you can only use on some surplus/unwanted stuff.Can you imagine getting a GC from BestBuy and only be able to buy Cd's ?

What about the paint app issue,Was never mentioned in the newest newsletter.Don't worry we don't forget.

Well, I asked the aproximate shipping quote for my upcoming order (Mystique comiquette EX) via Fedex (from the US to Spain) and I finally received a response by EU customer service: $48.03!!!

Is this the great deal sideshow has been negotiating with Fedex???????? It's just 5-6 dollars less than I was charged before!!!

maybe mystique is shipped from the eu warehouse....how many lbs is the pf???blackbeard was 35,i dont think is more..may be a mistake!!!
