Yep but that's what the sport is. Run to the box and fall down and hope the ref believes you seems to be the number one strategy.

And genuine penalties oftentimes don't get given because refs are afraid they're being duped.

The worst thing for me is when players don't get legitimate free-kick and penalties because they don't go down and try to stay on their feet.
