As far as customs trends go I think the Shattered Glass one is even less intresting than the "lets stick lots of lights to our TF's so they look like a tacky Christmas ornament" fad of a few months back.
I think I'll get a Botcon Shattered Glass figure and just paint over it in another shade of purple and call it the Shattered Shattered Glass variant. Should be good for a few grand there

Are you a fan of Arsenal, Liverpool or Man United? I hope not.
My local teams are Derby County or Nottingham Forest so naturally I support Man Utd. And I did have a season ticket for a while in the 90's when I could still afford it so I'm not one of the plastic supporters that give the club a bad rep.

For what it's worth I hope Spurs get 4th place ahead of City and Liverpool as it would be hilarious from a Utd fan's POV and possibly a consolation if Rooney's absence screws Utd's chances of winning a 4th League title in a row and getting to the Champions League final a 3rd year running.
Anyway back on topic before non football fans fall asleep,

Gotta go with Blurr 'cos everything I've read about Drift hasn't endeared the character to me. He sounds like a bad fan fic creation.

Blurr has only just been announced as the first repaint of this mold and will have a new headsculpt and weapons which will presumably be a nod to his G1 or more recent Animated appearance.

All I know is that he used to post at a site called Transtopia which I believe merged with Seibertron.com. He might also have a gallery at Radicons at TFW2005.com as well.
Those customs I posted pics of were made using ( I believe ) a few Alternators parts, some 1:24 scaled model car/van kits and other bits he built himself from scratch.

Wow, those do look fine! Being a long-time fan of Jazz, I dig him the most. It seems like the guy who created them was more interested in referencing the original toys over cartoon incarnations, though. I like it, but it seems different from the route of the Classics/Masterpiece lines.
They are by far the best representations of either character in toy form I've ever seen.
Considering their G1 toys had robot modes that looked nothing like their animation models just working out the transformation before any of the actual assembly could take place must have been a nightmare.

Glad you like them, I think he did a couple others including Mirage & Sideswipe but those were the pics I found first. If I remember right he was disappointed that most of the Alternators weren't more G1 accurate or in the case of Ironhide and Ratchet missed out completely so he set about doing his own and IMO pulled it off admirably.
bcm, I bet you were more a fan of the toys than the cartoon as a kid. Am I wrong?
