Too bad to hear the guy's a jerk, and there may well be better customs out there, but on their own merits, irrespective of anything else, they are pretty freakin' awesome.

Even before I discovered what a ******* FR is I never rated his work as his paintwork looks so bland and most of his ideas are stolen from other people.

Ok, so I got my FansProject Warbot in tonight...and in one word he is...AWESOME! Great articulation, great paint, classic G1ness with a modern twist, fun (sometimes frustrating) transformations, 2 Alt modes, and he is ____ing SPRINGER!!!I slapped a reprolabels Autobot logo on his chest and he is good to go. Oh and he has die-cast metal parts, again a nice throwback.

All you need is some pre existing TF's for the Constructicons, a few Unicron and Gundam parts and some LED's then you just slap some paint on it and then proceed to con some idiot on ebay to pay over a grand for it under the deluded pretence that it's some kind of modern artistic masterpiece that deserves to be in the Louvre or somewhere

Sorry but they aren't amazing. Why does Menasor have 2 identical car molds for the legs? The G1 version didn't.

As you probably know G1 Dragstrip was a six wheeled F1 car which is a pretty simple mod to the Classics mold so why didn't he do it?

Also the paint apps are all the same dull matte colors which is plain retarded considering 5 of the Stunticons are meant to be high end sports/F1 cars. How many of those cars in real life have anything but a shiny finish? None.

As for my own customising, I looked into doing it at one point but I am simply not in a position where I can afford to buy all the necessary parts and materials because living in the UK makes it difficult to obtain them.

If you really want to see the work of people with real talent I suggest you check out the work of customisers Wheeljack and JAF as well as the others RA88 mentioned.

WJ has reworked many Classics toys so that they are much more G1 accurate eg he's made Classics Bumblebee turn into a VW Beetle and JAF has used 1:24 scale model car kits to give Alternators like Sideswipe and Mirage their G1 alt modes and in some cases made Alternators that never got made officially such as Ironhide & Ratchet.

My garbage man has "skills" but I'm guessing he doesn't go round with a Unicron sized ego and generally look down his nose at other garbage men the way FR does with anyone who dares question his abilities in any way.

I find it impossible to endorse anything about a person who hounded a fellow member of the online community so badly he gave up customising because the stress it caused him started to affect his health.

And all he did was criticise one of FR's customs.

As for FR's customs I find them hugely overrated compared to the likes of Encline Designs, Tonyzcustomz, Sabrina Ng and numerous others and the man himself is scum.

In some instances this egomaniac has resorted to cyber bullying/stalking and used his pull with mods at various Transformer sites to get people banned just because they didn't crawl halfway up his backside telling him he's the God of TF customising and it is a shame more people don't realise what sort of person he really is.

Yeah, he even got banned from TFW because somebody wasnt kissing his ass and just said that he didnt like his custom very much and FR went on a massive tirade calling this person and others who didnt like his work all types of horrible names and even stated IN PUBLIC that he thought he was better than everyone else because he makes a living off of customizing toys. Scum.
If you ever go into one of his thread and say something even remotely negative about his work he will chew you out and go on a massive hissy fit.
He even sent physical threats towards someones wife because he "simply doesnt like" that person.
He has since dedicated massive amounts of his time tarnishing this other person's (who used to be a customizer) reputation, even going so far as emailing bidders on this guys ebay auctions and telling them a bunch of lies so they didnt bid.
This otehr customizer has now left the community altogether thanks to all the lies and slander and rumours FR has spread about him, even getting him banned from certain sites because he has the moderators in his pocket.
The man is pure scum.

Take his devastator for example. The very first one he made he had the original designer help him build, then FR turned around and sold it and didnt give the original designer ANY credit or royalties.
Then theres all this "shattered glass" bullcrap he's been doing lately. No better way to say you have ZERO original ideas when you can just paint something purple and call it "a unique custom".
Amazing skills? Dont make me laugh!
