Because you say? Nothing in those trailers has to be in the movie. You don't know what those scenes have to do with the plot. So who cares?

Yes because I "say." :lol

I liked how that scene mirrored the original, with the creepy chick peering up from the basement. Why is that such a big deal? :dunno

It happens with every movie. Things get cut out. Why does it warrant "THATS BULLGUCKING **** **** ***!!11" ?

True,

I'll try real hard to walk in open minded. :lol

Per the script, there isn't much character development. So, just go in knowing that.

But otherwise, I have no real expectations. But i'm excited to see it. Regardless if it's terrible. It should be fun. Packed house, Alamo Drafthouse....mmm.

Because you don't like it. It's as simple as that. I just re-watched it, and I still love it with every ounce of my heart. Perfect low budget horror movie.

:lol

Oh god I hope someone makes fun of them for that one. I would love to see the replies these idiots get.

I'm ********? I'm not the one getting mad about a scene in the trailer being taken out of the movie. :lol

You saw the scene. What difference does it make if it's in the movie or not?

You've seen it. It's over. You can watch the original scene if you want to see it again. :lol

Thought it was a better "horror movie" than the original, but it has none of the original's heart or charm. Some nice nods to the original. Better acting with some good gore moments.

There was quite a few 'huh' moments like a plastic gas can that blew up from being shot and a hand being tore off instead of sliding out with the mud.

There is a scene after the credits, but it's not really worth staying for and was kinda pointless.

All in all, a forgetful flick. I give is a 6.

Pretty much. I guess i'm OK with it being it OK. I prefer it over being ****ty. It was entertaining..but it's not as special as the original.

But kids who haven't seen The Evil Dead will flip their ****. They've been raised on PG-13 horror movies, nothing like this.

There are aspects I absolutely loved about the film, and things I hated. I'm far from squeamish, but this is a film that could have benefitted from a few frames trimmed here and there. Excessive realistic carnage is never scary- it's repulsive. In stylized cases, like the original series, it can be fun, and if done right, can enhance the terror; but if overdone, it really hinders my enjoyment of the film. Maybe I'm just getting too old.

And what was up with all the Deadites looking and acting like Regan from THE EXORCIST? I definitely agree it lacks the charm and heart of the OG trilogy, but I did like certain aspects that added to the mythology of the series. If anything, I wanted to know more about the prologue.

I dunno, I thought the gore was pretty funny. It's refreshing to see lots of gore in a film these days. Real gore. Not CGI plug ins.

Did not like the way they acted though. I agree. They forced it too much.
