FedEx left the nice "missed ya" note on my door. I had hoped to go and pick it up, but they said the drivers no longer return the items to the hub at the end of the day, so I have to wait until tomorrow ... grrrrrrr

now to decided if I'm brave enough to sign the slip and let them leave them on my porch.

Well GG arrived at my parents house and I will have him tomorrow. However, the fed ex driver told my mom that they will not deliver to my house on Friday and Anakin will be there on Monday. My parents live in a pretty small town but I hate this crap. This has happened before, and I am not happy with Fed Ex. I did not pay for ten day shipping.

Exclusive Grievous is here. It was like trying to get into Fort Knox while removing him from the packaging. I'm going to display him at first without the cape to really show off his structure. Received #719.

Honestly Tom, he is beautiful!

When I first received Vader I had second thoughts about my purchase for different reasons, base issues excluded. When I got Grievous put together I about soiled myself. Then my roommate's girlfriend came home soon after and I think she is more excited about the piece than I am. She is talking about buying a light to somehow enhance his internal organs and what not; I think she mentioned a Christmas light or something that blinks to give off the beating heart effect or something.

I already had him ordered when I went to Comic Con last year and finally saw him in person, and I could have just sat there all day and looked at him. I have really been looking forward to the day when I will have him across from my desk watching over me as I work.

I can't wait to see everyone's pictures with the cape. Honestly after seeing the one picture from the side with the cape, I gotta say I much prefer it without. The detail of GG's "neck" is really quite stunning.

Yes, I agree, the detail may be fantastic, but would you drive your car with an open bonnet, just to show off your gorgeous engine? Despite all the detail in the neck region, I just prefer the over all impression the statue makes with the cape. But in the end, it will all come down to this: your preferences!

The General is still on the Fed Ex truck. He never got delivered today! After having two teeth pulled today I was really looking forward to getting and admiring him as my drugs kicked in later. But alas, now I just have to play the nervous waiting game tomorrow and pray that he gets delivered. F*@#ing FED EX
