There is DEFINETLY something funky going on with the Grievous shipments. My sideshow account still says "shipping soon" and it has shipped. It's even funkier that my credit card was only preauthorized just today. VEEEERY odd.

Just saw the pics over at SF, and WOW! The back of the cape looks especially amazing. SS got the color right, and it looks like it leaped right off the big screen. The inside of the cape, however, is disappointing. SS should have done a better job with the pattern. Seeing the stitching, how it is in the upclose pics, would bother the hell out of me everytime I walked by it knowing it could have been better. Still, it doesn't look like it's something that can be seen from two or three feet away; and, in no way does it take anything away from the sheer awesomeness of the statue itself. Very cool! :chew

,..it looks really nice this!,... :chew ,...the cape looks nice.... i disagree about the stitches,.... in every star wars 1/4 u can see the stitches,..there's nothing that can be done,..... it's the smaller 1/4 size that makes it more obvious ,... i hope mine get shipped someday,... cape all the way for 4 me,... :chew :chew :chew

If the interior of the cape were embroidered that would have made this piece even better.

Actually, creating the pattern inside the cape isn't very difficult. Unfortunately, the diamond patter is too big, and there are gaps in the stitching. Looking at the Attakus Grievous shows how it should have been:

Still, like I said, it isn't something that takes away from the statue as a whole, but the winner for the inner detail goes to Attakus. The outside of the cape on the SS version rocks though, and blows the Attakus out of the water.

The pattern looks fine to me. It's not something I'm gonna get too crazy over as I don't think many folks that look will even notice actually. That Attakus one looks great though.

..don't know,..,...same can be said about han solo clothes,... vader stitches on glove,..all of them you can see if you nose too much,....so won't bother me,.. ,anyway,..seems like the cape is the way to go 4 me,...i prefer much better,...grievous looks naked without the cape,...from the reactions i see,.. looks like most people like the cape version better,..and u can remove it once in a while,..can't beat that,.. try adding a cape if u don't have 1 to begin with.....
