Super Freak
You're right. That wasn't really my point, but you're right. Crossfire is episode 4.13, though.Odo’s belt did have a buckle. Check episode 4 X 12 Crossfire.

Someone asked N on FB "are the colors of Odo's uniform final, or an early prototype?" and in reply he went mildly ape-poop about official vs unofficial photos, and questioning the commenter's ability to discern color and knowledge of the costumes. This does not bode well.
I hate being this nitpicky/negative/critical, but this inability to advise him when there might be a potential problem is infuriating. I just want the final product to be all it can be so that I can give them lots of money for it.
We are going into this Set and Screen color non-sense arguments again.
You will not see the color that you remember from the badly produced DVD color. Ask 10 different persons about the color, and we will have 10 different colors. One will say we did an amazing job and 9 would say Nanjin is a **** head with no sense or a total blind.
We will only use the best available info to determine the color, and this will not be what you see from your DVD. Same thing applies to Kira's uniform.
Odo and Kira's outfit colors are even harder to nail down comparing to TOS. Even grey cards were useless.
I will only listen to those who have actual screen used pieces in their hands. I will not listen to those who use screen caps.
Lots of money? You plan on buying multiple Odo's? I mean I agree he did get a little touchy when the guy brought up if it was the final product but I'm sure it's super annoying when your spending so much time doing research and paying people to get things right and some keyboard nerd is like "actually I think the colors are wrong". Unless someone has a screen used uniform or swatches the wardrobe department used they really don't have any idea what they are talking about so their opinion doesn't really matter. We all know stuff looks different in certain lighting and pictures do not do majority of these figures justice. Trust the process. So far all the tailoring has been executed pretty well.Someone asked N on FB "are the colors of Odo's uniform final, or an early prototype?" and in reply he went mildly ape-poop about official vs unofficial photos, and questioning the commenter's ability to discern color and knowledge of the costumes. Same thing applies to choosing the correct outfits colors. If I don't go through this fact checking phase, I don't deserve to have this license. Everyone should just keep enjoying their Playmates figures.
The occasional "The Cheese Slid of His Cracker" Nanjin post help give this hobby its charm. I especially like the "carnival barker" nod.“When we begin production, we will dye the color correctly.”
Coulda saved a lot of energy just saying that in the first “Odo is done” post.
I'm (hopefully) buying one. Not everyone measures "a lot of money" the same way.Lots of money? You plan on buying multiple Odo's?
I agree, but the guy that stirred it up on FB never said that, he simply asked if the colors were final. A simple "No" would have been fine.I'm sure it's super annoying when your spending so much time doing research and paying people to get things right and some keyboard nerd is like "actually I think the colors are wrong".

Haven't you heard? He's the only Trek fan remotely qualified to judge uniform colors. The rest of us are complete simpletons who know nothing about how light and color grading and different TV settings can change how things look.Color is wrong on Odo Nanjin you egotistical lurker
Now that was funny.O'Doh!
