Twok deserves its own release like First Contact. They have their own schedule.
While my interest in all things Star Trek is limited - mainly the feature films with Shatner/Nimoy etc, the excitement on these threads is fantastic, I'm grateful we have Nanjin at the helm producing these figures with the utmost respect and care. Bring on (beam down) TWOK!

Another huge decision issues fans will have to go through when we put these figures up.

These will be the MOST EXPENSIVE 1/6 Trek that we will ever make, yet, in my opinion, the Dollar to Value is exceptional. We haven't seen any in 1/6 since maybe 10 years ago.

Be warned.

I'll gladly pay more for those figures. The details on the jackets will be a lot of work.

I appreciate the warning because I cannot miss them even if it means I don’t buy any other figures in 2022 (or whatever year they come out).

I wonder if we'll see any Exo figure approach the $280-300 mark just due to the complexity of the design or difficulty in producing it...
For my wallet’s sake I hope they stay under $200 for as long as possible! But I can understand that smaller runs and added complexity makes it harder to keep the price down. However if you look at Asmus they are still putting out LOTR figures under $200. Some are pretty complex (in my opinion) and I would think the production runs are not very large (1,500 for some if the number on the boxes is correct). No clue what the licensing fees are or the difference in cost in manufacturing in different counties, marketing, customer service, etc. so it might not be a true apples to apples comparison other than they have been able to maintain a fairly consistent price point for figures of varying complexity.

We go by production cost and NOT market expectations. We don't want to charge an extra penny and we won't lose one either. This statement is for buyers advantage. Add my character and attitude to this statement than it becomes Reasonable Priced.

Each EXO-6 release, should be Once and for All collection. No new future releases can totally edge them out in quality and appearance.

I care about friends' wallets, and I know some Trek friends have lots of other financial responsibilities. I always keep this in mind. I couldnt afford Trek figures when I was young. I know that feeling well. I have deep thorough thought out plans for this issue.

Nanjin, I trust your pricing and know you are walking that tight line to keep it as affordable as possible and while not have everything collapse around. Shoot I still remember and am grateful for everything you did for us before the QMX days. You did everything you could back then to make it as affordable as possible too.

Honestly I have actually been pleasantly surprised that you have been able to keep the ones released so far under $200. I have a feeling if Hot Toys were doing this they would be starting at $240 plus if not $280 (and we would be looking at a 4th 2022 or later release). I would also guess Marvel and Star Wars have significantly larger production runs so even at the $280 mark Hot Toys probably wouldn’t see it as worth their time and effort when they can just put out more Star Wars and Marvel and make more money.

Just a shoutout to our fearless leader for bringing some great figures to life in 2021. This year had its challenges, but Star Trek figs made this year a lot better. Thank you Nanjin for your hard work and dedication and your passion for Star Trek, but not only to you but your whole team as well. 👏👏👏

Looking forward to what you can achieve in 2022 and the year of the Tiger.

April, pay attention on ST Chicago con

Back to an older subject...
The likeness on this Eaglemoss bust stinks, but they dealt with Sisko's barely perceptible eyebrows very well, considering. Hoping to see the eyebrows on the EXO-6 figure done similarly...but better.

Why does the above face remind me of Jamie Foxx more (in a good way) than Avery Brooks?? :panic:

I like the expression they seemed to be going for there, with that subtle arched eyebrow of his. It would be nice to see that make it into the Exo sculpt.
