Hey Nanjin,
Will all the new figures have the same pre-order window and be coming out at the same time? Trying to figure out budgeting.
No. They won't have the same pre-order timings.
Reasons:
1) Some will go into production before pre-sale. We can't change quantities. This will be available for immediate shipment (the 3+1 that I mentioned before will be like this. No much lead time, not much pre-sale windows. Close whenever we sell out the produced quantities. Will circle max orders for vendors)
2) Some that are molds dependant with less cut and sew but mostly hard goood (ex, cap chair) quantities can be added even when production is half way done. Very long pre-order windows. (Can be 2+ months preorder time frame)
3) normal uniformed figures: production won't start until we have a pre-sale quantities. About 1 week lead time, 3 weeks pre-sale windows.
4) production gaps fillers. Less demand figures with low quantities expectation used to fill out the production gaps. No specific delivery date. Deliver whenever is done with free time used. No pre-sale lead time. No pre-sale).
I will change the above whenever production needs pre-sale/sales support.
As you can see from the above, I have less desire to maximize quantirs with very little concern of bottom lines. An approach that will eventually fail or breakdown. These are some of the stupidest strategies that I ever made in my life interms of sustaing a long lasting healthy company.
Sounds bad, right? Think of it this way, without me sacrificing EXO-6 in this approach, we can never able to have a set of any Trek series.
EXO-6 will terminate its own existence for the sake of completing 1/6 Star Trek.
Compare the above to having NOTHING or incomplete collection that dies in the middle of the way.
Do note that, those who only want a complete set of a specific crew in each series will not have any problem ordering.
Seven will be a problem, we are limited by the supplier with her internal metal skeleton. Be ware of her sales date. We can only produce about 1/3 of the expected demand....
