If QMx listened to me in 2016, the 1/6 industry will be dominated by the 3 Kingdoms.
Too late now.
Too late now.
Sadly I feel the same way. Don’t get me wrong I think Trek fully under Nanjin is far better off for Trek but there was a lot of potential just flushed down the toilet by the way QMX handled their attempt at 1/6. Westley will never have his Buttercup or companions. There might not have been enough demand but that figure came out really well in my opinion and so did their Trek figures and even Mal from Firefly (they went the extra mile and put in the better 2nd headsculpt). For a company just starting out in 1/6 they had what looked like a bright future and other companies, both IP holders and competitors were starting to take notice.Well they were clearly morons
I just watched the first episode of the new season and not only was it a full hour long, but it was probably the most impressive and emotional episode of Orville yet. I hope you might be able to give it another shot someday! The two year hiatus, and subsequent move to Hulu really killed that show for me. I forget all about it until a comment like this pops up. I liked the nostalgia of it, and it really toned down the Family Guy style humor in the second season.
I was disappointed when it got kicked off Fox, but with all this time off, I kinda feel over it now, and don't really care one way or another about season 3 anymore.
Well! I can’t believe you came so close to making something I didn’t know I wanted until just now!If there was no Covid, we might be discussing Orville or I would be participating somewhere else.
I went to Oville after I resigned from QMx at SDCC 2019.
Fate and or Destiny, more Trek series came, I had Trek and Oville stopped since then.

All under my command in production. Without me, non of these figures could be produced including their Firefly Mals head replacement.Sadly I feel the same way. If space time had a different combination and enabled me to meet McFarlane myself, their figures would not be simply just figures.Well! I can’t believe you came so close to making something I didn’t know I wanted until just now!
I hope it will just be a temporary stop! Hopefully the new season goes strong and the show continues so that you’ll have the opportunity in the future, if that’s something you may be interested in. I bet Seth McFarlane would love to have his own 1/6th figure!
I'm definitely sad the Firefly line didn't continue, but as for Trek I think it's probably for the best that things didn't work out. As I'm much happier with these new figures we're getting, with their better sculpts and tailoring and the greater variety of characters from different series. Not to mention the much faster turnaround time that QMX was never going to come close to.Sadly I feel the same way. If the past was different, now will be different. Now is good because of the past was used to build for today's good.I'm definitely sad the Firefly line didn't continue, but as for Trek I think it's probably for the best that things didn't work out. Yup. I’m here for the Trek only.We really have gotten off on a tangent. Maybe NanJin can move onto Orville, Firefly, BSG and Babylon 5 after he’s finished with Lieutenants Kyle and Leslie.
