Eaglemoss was notorious for this, which is why I only have a select few ships of the regular sized ships (all Enterprises) and a handful of XL’s (Nebula, NX-01 Refit, Akira). I may get the ENT B, C, E since they looked decent before they’re not available on retail.

The ENT D version quite frankly was an eyesore for inaccuracies and with the numerous paint misalignments even on XLs, I wasn’t eager on acquiring more.
Yeah I've considered getting some in the past, like the JJPrise or USS Titan, but every time I watch a review they just don't really seem worth paying 70 bucks for.

I would love a line of detailed ships to display with the EXO figures but the problem will probably come down to funds. If there was a way to get the ships under $300 and only releasing one a year I could see myself getting TOS, TNG and at least one from the original cast movies. I could even try to go as high as $400 but at some point it would mean passing on figures. I absolutely love the idea and I would find a way to make room but I don’t know if I could ever do the price. I would get the TOMY if I could justify the price and wouldn’t have to cut out EXO figures to get it (Enterprise in one payment vs almost 3 EXO Trek figures spread out, I went with EXO).

Non figures but Trek questions.

If you are a Trek collector, then you must know what's happening with TOMY die-cast TOS Enterprise. What's happening there triggered some of my old Trek desires and inspired some outrangous ideas in production. To further reduce and control cost across the board by combining our plastic and soft goods production under one roof.

Anyway, how do you guys like Trek ships?

Some basis of Trek ships.
TOS Ent is the standards referenced. It is slightly over 300m with equilateral to 1000 ft.

Therefore a TOS Ent in 1/1000 is feet long.

Will anyone be interested to a one foot long Enterprise with FULL visual effects and ALL detail that never existed except on Bandai Perfect Grade kit.

The reason i want 1/1000 is because the Ent D. Ent D is 2x of TOS Ent. A 2 feet long D seems to be the perfect size for a Studio Scale classification.

I am looking all series own iconic ships. Full visual effects and Bluetooth or Wifi operation.

I love the ships of Star Trek, and have my Eaglemoss ships proudly displayed with my Exo6 figs. As someone who was genuinely disappointed to see Eaglemoss go under, I do think it provides a unique opportunity for you, if you are interested in pursuing other types if Trek merchandise.
You have a particular eye for how to market a product as diverse as the Trek license. That's something that companies like Qmx, Art Asylum, Diamond Select and Mcfarlane have all lacked. Only Playmates seems to have understood it, but they went a bit off the rails by the end.
With that in mind, I think you can easily fill the niche left by Eaglemoss. The biggest difference needed, I think, is consistent scale. If you did every ship at a 1/2000 scale, for instance, it would provide a uniformity that Eaglemoss lacked. And collectors love uniformity.
The bigger ships, with the lights and everything? Those can sell, but really only the biggest fan faves. The enterprises, the defiant, Voyager, e.t.c. But a license like that can accommodate such things.
I believe you should seriously consider it. I know you have a strict end date for 1/6 scale, but... plans can change. And there's room now for Exo6 to start branching out. Ships, 1/12 scale figs, prop replicas, imagine if there was one company doing all of it, run by someone with the insane care for detail and encyclopedic knowledge that you've demonstrated. Trek hasn't been this popular in over two decades. If ever there was a time to seize on these things, it'd be now.
Just... think about it, maybe

Too big for me, Nanjin.

Yeah I'd be much more interested in some accurate prop replicas from Exo-6 myself. Or at least some prop model kits that we could put together and paint ourselves.

Yes, exactly! I, for instance, have little interest in prop replicas of any sort. I have a bat'leth, and I'm always on the lookout for a good hor'gahn at conventions, but that's about the extent of it. But, I love ships and would buy up as many as I could. The fanbase has a large and diverse range of interests that can easily be mined by a knowledgeable fan.
Without Eaglemoss, there's really no other company besides Exo6 that is doing Trek merchandise. I mean, Playmates is getting back into it with the smaller figures, but their last attempt with the Kelvinverse figs went nowhere, so who knows.

@nanjin - What did you think of the QMx Artisan Replica ships?

I’ve never seen them in person, they looked miraculous from the pictures, steep price!

My 350 was built by the same person, John Eblan who built QMx artisans. He built mine before he joined QMx

Will you parallel having a 350 is like having a so called "big ticket" items like washing machine, refrigerator, would require a lot more consideration during replacement or additional purchase decision process?

In other words, expensive and troublesome to relocate.
Yes, I would consider it something that would take quite a bit before I replace it , especially since I built mine. Because of size and cost, I'm also reluctant to add another. That's the primary reason I didn't even consider the Tomy one. it will be Awesome I'm sure, but I just can't justify it.

Would definitely be interested in accurate/detailed ships. Especially since the Tomy crowdfunded version doesn’t look like it’s going to get to the target of 2,500 backers - about 800 shy of goal right now with 4 days left.

Chronicle's D was attractive. Don't remember but was good. Size is perfect and able to have the other 1000th scale ships to complement. Perfect scale collection.

1500 is the sweetspot. MR struggled to sell 1701

I'd pick up a Voyager in a heartbeat!

If I remember correctly…and these days that can be a big if…Nanjin said the Wrath of Khan figures would be produced and sold very close together. I think his explanation was he wanted the fabric to be uniform in color and consistent which might not be possible if the fabric was bought across more time. Anyway, I am totally ready to order the lot. Can’t wait for these!!!

The entire twok production monster maroon fabric will be dyed in one lot to maintain consistency.

I like ships but room is a factor, especially considering the hints you've dropped about TOS bridge stations :)

Shoot, I would say after seeing the pictures I am going to be hesitant to buy anything until I have secured TWOK figures and chair (and TMP Kirk if I am lucky enough to get one). Last thing I want to do is have that come up for order and not have the funds available at the right time.

Looks like Tomy dropped the target to 2,000 now. My guess is if there are at least 1701 backers, this will move forward into production.
