Still looks like the same sculpt to me, but it's always worked better from some angles than others.
I agree though that Sisko is the real standout in that photo.

Judge Q was really good too. I do agree paint apps aren’t their strong suit. It’s the same sculpt, for sure…. The point where EXO tends to struggle, however, is with their production paint apps.
With Sulu and Saru being clear exceptions.
The paint apps do look a bit odd. Not sure how I feel about it. Outfit looks great.
Also looks like this release will be bare bones as expected. Stand and the 1:1 delta. Hopefully that equates to a low price as has been hinted at.
He won't. Only a single pair of alternate hands plus base, if I recall correctly. Basically, if a character doesn't use an item, it won't be included - no "what if" options, which personally I think is a bit of a shame, even if I understand the reasoning. TWOK Spock won't include a phaser, for example, as he didn't use one in the movie.Seems like he should at least come with a phaser and communicator….
I know he didn’t use either while in that particular uniform, but since we won’t be getting short sleeve bridge Kirk, those two small items would be nice for some “what if” posing…
The Kirk in the chair is an older image of the prototype. It's been shared before. It’s almost like he’s too tan but also has a bit of a rosy complexion. I dunno.. hopefully it looks better in person. The picture of him in the chair look better but it’s also a shadowy image.
It’s shown in the same group of pictures on Nanjin’s Facebook page though. The Kirk in the chair is an older image of the prototype. It's been shared before.
So? Doesn't mean it's a new photo. Because it isn't.It’s shown in the same group of pictures on Nanjin’s Facebook page though.
I’m just saying it’s in the same grouping of photos as the new photo. So if the sculpts are different it seems a bit deceptive but it’s from Nanjin and not advertised through EXO-6 officially. So? Doesn't mean it's a new photo. Because it isn't.
I don't think it's deceptive. That along with the other photo of Spock, Kirk, and McCoy's faces, which also uses the prototype just serves to remind someone with good pair of eyes that the production figure's paint falls short of the prototype. I think it's pretty clearly not a different sculpt, but I also think it was a bad idea to share them all together like that. There's a lot of people commenting on his post acting very impressed, but I know there's people who are the exact opposite.I’m just saying it’s in the same grouping of photos as the new photo. So if the sculpts are different it seems a bit deceptive but it’s from Nanjin and not advertised through EXO-6 officially.
I shouldn’t say the actual sculpt changed but yeah it seems like the paint on the final product isn’t as well applied. The hair seems to have lost detail and the skin tone looks quite different.I see. I don’t think the sculpt changed. I think the production paint apps pale in comparison to the proto, and this is a fairly common tale with EXO releases.
