Collecting Trek is collecting crews, so each crew has to match with the right uniforms for the right time period.

THAT is the trick. You know what you want... but how long before Exo-6 gets to your preference, AND how much longer before you can collect ALL the crew you need? 5 years? 10?

You see this problem with the Bond movies figures. I want the oldies... but Craig keeps getting in the way, then there are the other Bonds... to get all the Connery Bonds and villains I want will take... well, I don't imagine they will ever fulfill my want list. Not even if there was interest in old Bond.

If it were up to me I would have continued on with the QMX styles for both TOS and TNG. I like variety, but those looks are prime for those shows. DS9 I would do the later season/movie uniforms.

I do not care anymore when or if Exo-6 will be releasing TOS characters. All the ballyhoo on time schedules, fake star dates and guessing is part of a marketing strategy I do not prefer.
I am building my own TOS figures (When better TOS figures of my favorite characters will be built, I'll consider buying them, but not in 10 years).

To be fair we’ve known since the first release that TOS wasn’t coming right away. I get a little irritated with the fact that EXO-6 has twice hyped up dates and then only offer teases.

I’m glad we finally have this image and am happy more is forthcoming. Luckily I don’t feel the need to “crew collect” and am good to get my favorite characters/actors.

Serious speaking. Please just a smaller portion of fans will only have one ending, ditch 1/6 Trek after about 5 figures.

No one can complete any series if doing this like a fan boy.

I really don't understand the bitterness in here towards Nanjin simply because he's choosing to focus on different characters early on than others might want. It just seems so damn childish.

He's already promised to get to as many Trek characters as he possibly can, and is in a much better position to do that than ever before, so just have some freakin patience already.

Agreed. Expectations seem a bit off. The line just started and he seems to be doing the best he can with what's feasible right now. Key characters will get made eventually. Collecting, especially a series of set, is a long game that requires patience.

There are friends who understand, and there are fans who just want what they want.

A lot of people wants me to start with Scotty and move on to Uhura. By this, I will be closing down this venture by about the 4th figure. Then 1/6 Trek damage would be permanent, ansdie out in 2 years permanently (all the major profit were made. New comers would not be interested)

What about keeping 1/6 Trek alive?

There are obligations that I need to fulfill with CBS. I have to make X amount of New Trek comparing to old ones. This means I must Market new trek and make room for them in production.

I am not going to dig a hole and let people put 1/6 Trek 6 feet under.
