The only thing is, you're feeding into his attention-seeking. But I do get why you have to say something, so more power to ya.

On a related note: I witnessed a discussion where Nanjin threatened a bootleg company which showed Star Trek prototype figures. Someone said something in the comments along the lines of "But that's how you started - making bootlegs." And Nanjin kept saying "That's different". Long-story-short, what Nanjin was getting at is that he doesn't care about Star Trek, CBS or the IP licences etc, but only how it affects him. A bootleg company directly affects him now because he's paying a license fee on the figures, so he went after them, otherwise he doesn't care. My jaw hit the floor when I realised what he meant. It's fine for him to profit off bootlegs, but not others. From then on, I was really disgusted. He doesn't care about Trek creators, only how it makes him look/affects him. So I find it amusing he wants to invite those very creators to an exclusive club.

Update: he blocked me. And my replies were very mature. I guess he doesn't like anyone making him look like an fine fellow.

So I won't be able to post updates anymore, and all he has now are Borg drones on his Facebook page.

Yeah is Paramount/CBS just happy to cash a license fee check and be on their way? I have only been following the line for a few months. As I was reading here and catching up, it seemed like some dude was somehow making official Trek 1/6 out of his basement. It didn't seem like a real company at all. Now I still have that feeling

I wanted to see updates, but had to unfollow him. It was starting to sour me on collecting the line further.

Honestly, I don't know how to navigate FB. I only have a dummy account over there for updates on collectibles (ironically enough). Otherwise, I don't actively participate.

This is all disappointing and unnecessary and takes the air out of the sails a bit regarding EXO-6 Trek. I know I'm good for WoK Spock, but barring the unforeseen it may end there. His new TOS Spock doesn't appear (at this point) to offer enough difference to upgrade from the QMx second release Spock.

A bit of a gray area since he’s using his own Facebook account, but let’s be honest he uses it as a platform for promoting his work for EXO-6 even if it’s not an official platform for the company. If I was partnered with him I’d have a problem with the way he treats others.

Ex-owner Darklord Dave Stephan works for EXO-6. I'm sure he knows nanjin's activities well enough, because he lied to try and get one of nanjin's four known sock accounts reinstated.

I’m with Nanjin when it comes to toxic groups.

Best thing I ever did was leave those groups, Sideshows group, OSR etc. narcissistic peasants and power tripping hypocritical admins and just whining peasants all day.

It’s gross.

All that and I actually prefer the Dark Side of the Force.
