Let's look at what you said

For the price point, these sculpts should be a bit better imo. Janeway was soft. Sisco looked off to me. Paris, Kim...who am I missing? I would give them a pass for sure if the price was closer to the $150-$175 mark but the new point of entry is over $200.

From what you wrote it certainly looks like (inference) you are implying that the sculpts you listed were outside of your proposed price mark. It wasn't until you were educated on their pricing that you changed your tune and now suddenly you feel those sculpts are acceptable due to their price point.

This was after you talked about them needing to up their quality. Because you named HT comparing their pricing to Exo6 pricing you are certainly "implying" that for these higher prices Exo6 should be closer to HT quality. If you didn't mean to cause people to make that conclusion, that's fine, but when you name one company as a example especially one at the top of the game after criticizing another company, people will draw the conclusion that you are saying the former company should be at the level as the latter.

Closer is not the same. I just said the sculpts should be better as the prices go up. That's not an unreasonable expectation. If you think the price point and the quality are on par with one another, that's cool. I just don't and that's why I stated I was passing on this one.

Yes, you were making a correlation between Exo-6 quality and cost vs HT quality and cost. Which is why I and at least one other (probably more) drew the conclusion we did.

I made a reference to HTs, not a direct comparison. Like I said, I made a correlation between cost and quality.

There's no right or wrong answers here, only individuals opinions. I stated my opinion about EXO6's cost vs quality and you opined about yours.

I'm in for TOS, TNG, VOY and some movie figs so I love their work. EDIT: AND DS9...how could I forget them!

I'm a huge fan of their work, we all are I think.

Honestly, my biggest collecting regret is not getting into EXO's Trek line from the first floor. Now I feel like it's has high as the Empire State building and the elevators are all broken.

I wish he picked up where he left off with the TOS crew. He only had two to go with the main cast.

I didn't take anything out of context. I just didn't feel like writing the whole thing out, after I showed the full quote just above what I wrote, that's why the ..., was there.

It's pretty clear what you meant. You mentioned sculpts should be better for the price, you then list sculpts you felt should be better and gave a price point you felt the figures should be in. You didn't say Wesley should be in the same price range of the sculpts you listed since you considered them soft or not that good. You implied that the sculpts you listed were in a higher price range like Wesley. If that wasn't your intent, then why even list those sculpts and a price point?

How do you propose Exo-6 raise their quality for the higher prices, when the higher price is due to inflation? What you are suggesting would make the figures even more expensive.

Why did you list the other sculpts if you were just wanting to concentrate on Wesley? You could of just simply said I don't think Wesley's sculpt is worth the price and left it at that.

I don't see where I gave my opinion; I simply began by pointing out the sculpts you listed were within the price range you gave and pointed out why Exo-6 can't give a lower price. Since then I've been going back and forth with you about what you said.

You may not have meant it, but that's the impression it gives for some. If you didn't mean to imply that there was a standard or that you were comparing, then why even mention HT at all?

Now here's my opinion....I don't think the Wesley sculpt is that great in the pre order pics either.

What is a fact though Exo6 has proven that they improve their sculpts from pre order to release. Some still aren't perfect, but they are always better than the pre order photos.
