I'm pretty happy with the sculpt on this, although it's still a much more grim and angry looking expression than I'd prefer for Picard (although granted he had some pretty intense moments in FC).

Hopefully the Captains version will have a slightly warmer expression though that shows his more charming side.

Not sure if the "official" photographer of EXO-6 is here. He's a utter disgrace to the brand and really trying his best to tarnish the reputation of it.

Telling those who disagrees or dislike the sculpt to F off? Also using the incorrect backdrop for the figure is fine with him?

Someone really needs to have a talk with him.

Yeah I know there were early hints that they might be cheaper, but realistically I always expected they'd be around the same price as the QMX ones. These are licensed figures so Nanjin probably can't get away with the lower prices you see from third party companies.

So far the figures look like they ought to be cheaper, because they feel like a downgrade from the QMx level.

However, that may be more due to the plain, uninspiring nature of the FC uniforms (and film) itself.

The ambition to put out so many figures within a five-year mission doesn't fill me with confidence that the quality will warrant many purchases.

I am interested in TOS anyway and if the new figures meet my expectations I will be a buyer. If the crew ? s chairs won ? t have got faux leather upholstery l? d scratchbuild it myself, I got the material.

Indeed!!!! Hope to see Uhura with S2 head and hairdo and tunic ( but tunic with S3 fabric, no terry cloth please). And with her special petite body with chunky thighs, no Barbie legs please!

In terms of quality, there is no comparison even blindfold test. You will see.

I'm not sure why you think it's a downgrade....but I think it looks at least on par if not slightly better then QMX. Then again, I loved FC so maybe this line just isn't for you.

The boots don't look good.

I presume that's Velcro in the tunic standing in for a working zip, and it looks like it extends too high.

The grey part is a bit like a shawl rather than more flush with the black as on the real costume.

The material itself, and the way it hangs just doesn't scream high end. For all the hype I'm just not seeing the pay off yet.


And yes, a fondness for the source does play a lot into how we perceive the figures. If it's something you want it's possible to feel less critical towards it.

Sometimes, however, a good figure will draw me to actually re-evaluate and appreciate the source, but Picard and Data just don't look very enticing at all.

I wouldn't want the whole crew from FC, though. Data, Picard are enough. I think it would be interesting to have a Zefram Cochrane figure, too. Borg Queen in statue form remains to be seen.

It will depend on the market acceptance. Basing on historic data and trend, FC series should have greater acceptance after the full series is displayed, and I expected the same ebay pricing will surface after more announcements and protos are presented. I am really looking forward to the fans review.

As of now, not until Data and Picard are delivered, these are only Imaginations.

Yet, we have the cut and sew and all the correct body heights. So making additional crew members only require heads. I don't see any problem making FC full crew.

But again, planning phase won't be considered until Data and Picard are delivered and their qualities are confirmed and accepted.

I can say they are better than anyone in 1/6 production but this is just a say. I won't even start my marketing effort until friends have Data and or Picard.

I am actively looking for negative responses. Because those responses will be my advertising tool when actual figures are here to remedy the negative comments. Why you think I started production before pre-sale? Supply will create is own Demand.

Imagine those who think Data and Picard are no good and ended up paying eBay pricing.

This is why I once mentioned, I want to see regrets [emoji6]
